~Angelic Eyes~ 《Re-writing》

On a great day on the streets of L.A. Calum was sourended by a medium group of girls.

I walked next to Calum as he was talking to some fans. Taking pictures, signing. I stood behind them and observed every move the girls did to make sure it's all okay.

After the girls left Calum went ahead for a walk. As soon as he got to the corner of the street, I could hear a car speeding. I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. The car went by and Calum took a few steps back before turning to me.

The next thing that happened, left me in a shock.

"Thank you for saving my life." He said looking at me with his eyes focused on mine. I looked around to make sure he is really talking to me and sees me.

How is this possible? I just touched him. Maybe that made me visible for him. I screwed up...

He looked confused at my actions.
"Uhm. Yeah. No problem." I said with an awkward smile. His expression softened and he smiled at me.

"What's your name?" He asked me.

"Lilith" I whispered, it came out so silent that I was afraid he didn't even hear it.

"You seem scared." He said with a slight frown.

"I just wasn't noticed before." I frowned too and looked at my feet. He gave me a confused look but shook it off and hugged me. I was shocked by his actions but hugged him back.

"Let's take you somewhere where you can chill out." He said and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, looking around to make sure no one saw his actions...

He started a conversation in attempt to comfort me until we got to his car. I wasn't so sure about what to say. I wasn't so sure about what happened.

Am I still an angel? Am I a human now? Did I give up on being an angel by saving him or I just lost my invisibility?

I guess I'll have to find out.

*Calum's P.O.V.*

She is so beautiful. Dark hair and light eyes. Just like an angel... She saved my life. I want to make her happy.

I never tought love at first sight is a thing but I guess it is. I feel like it could be the end of the world and I still wouldn't care as long as I would be with her.

*Lilith's P.O.V.*

We got to his car. We got in and buckled up all the stuff needed.

The car ride was silent except the quiet sound of The 1975's album from the radio. I loved that band. Calum was humming the lyrics and I was looking out the window. I kept looking trought the buldings we passed and once in a while looking at the road in front of me.

"Everything is okay?" Calum asked as he looked at me.

"It'll be if you decide to look at the road." I laughed awkwardly.

"Oh. Sorry." He said chuckling.

I used to hear his thoughts but now I don't hear them at all although I know he's thinking of something because he's concentrated but still not on the road.

*Calum's P.O.V.*

I'm such an idiot. I probably scared her. Now she thinks that I can't take care of myself or of her. Nice move Calum...

But I seriously can't get my eyes off of her. It's like I'm under a spell that's making me want her. Does she have a Calum magnet at her?

Damn, Calum...Back at it again with the lame jokes...

I park my car at it's own parking lot. I stop the engine and get out. Before Lilith gets to open her door I rush to her side and open the door for her.

"Thank you." She almost whispers.

"No need to thank me." I say with a smile and make my way to my apartment.

*Lilith's P.O.V.*

He brought me to his apartment. Well...now I'll need to act like it's a new thing for me.

"What if I screwed up." I hear Calums voice.

"What?" I ask looking at him.

"What? I didn't say anything." He says opening the door of his apartment.

Good. I finally can hear his thoughts again. I still have my powers so I'm probably just visible. But only for him? I hope no, because then it'd be awkward.

We enter his apartment and I look around pretending that I see the grey walls and the black and white furniture for the first time.

The white see-through curtains hanging in front of the window hiding a gorgeous landscape behind them.

I go to the window. Drag the curtains to the side and admire the landscape. Calum stops next to me and joins me in the staring.

We just stay there in awkward silence and I keep listening to his racing thoughts.
