Love Me Like You Do

Chapter 5

♪Ashton's P.O.V ♪

It was about ten am and I'm thinking to myself "why the hell am I up so early?" But I already know the answer to that I just don't want to admit it to myself. After a couple of minutes I went down stairs to go and eat some breakfast. When I went into the kitchen I saw that my mom had left a note saying that she took Harry and Lauren over to grandma's house. I just shrugged it off and I kind of figured she'd leave without me. Even though she's been doing this to me ever since I joined the gang it still hurt that my own mother won't let me see my grandma.

I had barely started eating breakfast when to no surprise I got a text from Zach saying : got another job for you. be there by noon. I sighed and immediately replied: I'll be there. same place as yesterday? He sent back: yeah same place as yesterday. I quickly finished my breakfast and went up to my room and got dressed. After I finished getting dressed I quickly ran downstairs and grabbed my car keys. What I saw next caught me completely off guard. I saw that girl that I saw at the airport heading into the house of my neighbor.

Well my chances of ever being in a relationship with her have been shattered. My neighbor hates me with a bloody passion. What the hell? I'm not going to let myself let another girl get hurt because of my stupid actions. Might as well enjoy the fact that I'll be able to see her every day but not be able to talk to her. Stop it Ashton. You can't have her not after what happened to Natalie. I just let those thoughts run through my head not caring if it breaks me emotionally. You can't fix what's already broken and I'm beyond broken to ever be repaired again.

I continued to make my way towards my car and every once in a while I'd look over at the girl. I immediately stopped after the girl's parents started to glare at me and gave me the "stay away from her" look. After a while they finally stopped glaring at me as soon as they realized I was leaving for the day. I guess today is just not my day considering that it was ruined the moment Zach texted me and seeing that girl once again. Without a second thought I pulled out of my driveway to head towards the same location as yesterday. That abandoned warehouse is going to be the death of me and the others involved.

Let's face it we're going to get caught eventually and I'm not the same innocent guy I used to be. I've done things that I'm not exactly proud of. Please God let me find a way out of this hell and a find a path towards heaven.

♪Elizabeth's P.O.V ♪

The entire ride back to my dad's house was really awkward and none of us even tried to make conversation with each other. It took us about an hour to get to the house and lets just say that was the longest drive ever with the silent treatment going on. Luckily I'd put my headphones into my pocket so can listen to the music on my phone. It was easy to tell that parents both started to talk about me once I put my headphones since they kept glancing back at me. I just ignored them and continued to listen to Hit The Lights by Selena Gomez and The Scene.

I eventually drifted off into a deep sleep and didn't wake up until we got to the house. My mom slipped into the back seat and gently shook me awake. I woke up and just started to gather up my things to get out of the car. The house was actually not that bad, it was better than that apartment mom and I lived in. It didn't take me long to get all my stuff gathered up to go inside the house.

Not to long after getting my suitcase out of the trunk of the car I felt someone's gaze on me. When I looked over I realized it was the same guy that was at the airport and McDonald's. I know that he didn't catch me staring back at him because he just kept on staring. He stopped staring once he saw my parents glaring at him. I couldn't help but wonder what about me had captured his attention.

As soon as I was inside my mom and dad both stopped me from going upstairs to my room."I want you to stay away from that boy," my mom and dad both said to me."Why?" I immediately asked.''He's not good for you," my dad replied. "Isn't that for me decide?" I calmly asked him. "You don't have a choice in the matter," my mom and dad both replied. "Screw you guys. I do what I want,I'm punk rock; " I snapped at them.Before they could say anything else I stormed up to my room and slammed the door shut.

It didn't take them long to start talking about the way that I'm acting. There's nothing wrong about the way I'm acting. They're overreacting and they can't decide who I can and can't hangout with. It's my life I have the right to be in a relationship with him if I want to. Wait. What? What the hell ? I can't fall for him. I don't even know what the hell I'm thinking anymore. I mean I haven't even met the guy and I already want to be in a relationship with him. Seriously, what the hell is going on with me? I never used to be like this.

♪Zach's P.O.V ♪

I really don't have a job for Ashton to do this is just an excuse to get Ashton to come to a meeting. The funny thing is I don't feel guilty whatsoever for lying to him. We all know that Ashton would just full on ditch the meeting if we told him the truth. The thing is we got to make sure he knows who's in charge and can't do whatever the hell he wants to do. Last time we killed an innocent girl he was involved with just because he broke way to many rules for her. What he doesn't know is that I'm the one that told them that he had a girlfriend. In all technicality I'm the reason that she died and the reason why Ashton is now heartless.

The real reason that we even told him that we had a job to do was to discuss the old rules and the new rules. We know that he was late doing his last delivery and some of our guys saw him distracted with some girl. He better keep his shit together or the same thing is going to happen to this girl, maybe worse. I don't even know what I'm going to do with her if she and Ashton are together, but I'm just saying it ain't going to be pretty.

♪No One's P.O.V ♪

Shit just got real. Maybe it might be better if Elizabeth did move on with Xavier. What if Ashton's simple gaze has killed his chances of ever being with Elizabeth? Can Elizabeth already be feeling a connection to Ashton? Will Xavier ever have a chance to prove that he really cares about Elizabeth too? Is Austin really going to try and get back together with Elizabeth? When is Natalie gonna stop her stupid jealously bullshit?
