Love Me Like You Do

Chapter 7

♪Elizabeth's P.O.V ♪

I decided to get out of the house by telling my parents that I made some plans with a friend that I had met earlier that morning. They both answered as if they couldn't have cared less about where and who I was going to be with. Is it a bad thing that I really don't care what my parents think about my actions ? Xavier had texted me not to long ago to meet him at this pizza place so I just took my parents car to get there. Once I got in the car I typed the address of the pizza place.

It didn't take me very long for me to get there considering that it was a thirty -forty minute drive.When I found a parking spot I made my way towards the entrance. I glanced around and realized that I had gotten here before Xavier. I took a seat at a one of the tables and pulled out my phone to start playing Bejeweled 2. Not to long after I heard the door open and immediately glanced back to see if it was Xavier. But I soon realized it was the guy with the galaxy hair that was with the that guy with all the tattoos and lip piercing. Lucky for me that he didn't seem to notice me, at least that's what I thought until I heard someone walking towards my table.

I pretended to not hear him come up until he said," Hey. Is this seat taken?" It took me a few minutes before I finally replied quietly, " No it's not." Without any hesitation he immediately pulled out the chair and sat down. I knew for a fact that he just realized that I'm not from here. Not to long after he finally said, " So I'm Michael. What's your name, love?" I quietly replied," I'm Elizabeth." Then he asked the question that I'd been waiting to hear, "Are you new here?" "Yeah I'm new here," I said to him. His follow up question I also expected, "So where are you from?" "I'm from San Francisco," I replied.

What he said next took me by complete surprise," So if you aren't doing anything right after this do you wanna maybe come over to my place ?" I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn't sure what I was going say. "I would but I'm meeting one of my friend's here," I replied. What the hell was that Elizabeth? I fucking swear. I haven't even been here for a whole day and I've already talked to two hot guys and seen three of them. God I feel like such a player. My thoughts were immediately interrupted when he said, "Can I at least have your number so we can hang out later?"  "Sure. Let me see your phone," I said to him. It didn't take me very long to put my number into his phone. Soon after I gave him my phone to do the same. 

Not to long after Xavier walked in with a big smile on his face. Michael then went to pick up his order and waved good bye after he left. "Hey,"he said once he sat down. "Hey,"  I replied back to him. "I didn't order anything yet. I was waiting for you so I know what to order," I said afterwards. "That's fine. I'll just go and order us a pepperoni pizza. That's fine right?"Xavier said. "Yeah. That's fine," I replied. Then Xavier went up to go and order our food. Not to long after someone walked in and all I heard was a deep voice say,"You're going to regret ever talking to her." My curiosity got the best of me and I went outside to see what was going on.

♪Michael's P.O.V ♪

I was in complete shock when Ashton pushed me up against the wall and looked like he was going to . . . to kill me. I never thought that my best friend would ever have the look that showed that he actually wanted to severely hurt me. " Ashton let me explain what happened," I tried pleading with him. "I can't believe that you would betray me like that," Ashton said back to me ignoring what I had just said. Before I knew it he straight up punched me in the stomach and lets just say I dropped down in pain. "Ashton it's not what it looks like," I tried saying to him. But he just ignored what I had just said and continued to beat me up.

Before I knew it he had me pinned against the wall again. "You're going to regret ever talking to her, " was all I heard him say before I heard another voice. That voice yelled at Ashton saying, " What the hell do you think you're doing him?! " It didn't take me long to realize that it was Elizabeth. I immediately said, "Elizabeth its fine. Just go I can handle this on my own." Next thing I know she sarcastically replied," Yeah sure looks like you have everything under control." "Why don't you listen to him and just fucking  leave?" Ashton said to her. "I don't have to answer that," she  said back to him.

♪Elizabeth's P.O.V ♪

I don't think Xavier even noticed that I left without saying anything. Imagine my surprise when I walked towards the alley entrance and saw Michael pinned against the wall. "What the hell do you think you're doing to him?!" I shouted. The guy that was pinning Michael against the wall suddenly turned around and I realized that it was the same boy from the airport and neighbor. It was obvious that he surprised to see me there. "Elizabeth it's fine. Just go, I can handle this on my own," I heard Michael say to me. "Yeah sure looks like you have everything under control," I replied back to him. "Why don't you listen to him and just leave?" the tall boy with the tattoos said to me. "I don't have to answer that," I said back to him.

Before he could say anything back Xavier came running towards where I was standing. "Do you have a death wish or something?" was all I heard Xavier say. "What the hell are you talking about?" I asked him. Then I heard Chelsea say," You don't know that he's in a gang? For crying out loud Elizabeth your parents told you to stay away from him for a reason." I was in complete shock after what she had just said. But had she found out that my parents said that to me ?  What no one expected was for me to suddenly turn to him and ask . . .
