Chapter 37 You need to talk to her

(Ari's POV)
I am so excited right now! Bex is coming to pick me up, so we can hang out for the day. I love watching her and Lana as besties. They really are goals. Bex and I get along great, we are both a but quirky when it comes to our personalities, we love the same movies, music, food, and we are major fan girls. She's practically my second mom. "Ari! Bex will be here soon, are you ready?" Lana yelled from downstairs. "Of course mom, chill" I yell back. I hear foot steps coming up to my room, Lana walks in. " hey, watch your tone with me" she says leaning against my door frame. "Sure what ever, sorry" I say while rolling my eyes. She just gives me a look, and walks back to what ever she was doing before.  Then I hear the door open and I know it was Bex coming to pick me up.
(Lana's POV)
Ari hasn't been acting like her self lately. She has been moody and sometimes when I check up on her at night she's crying. I know something is wrong, but I don't want to push her. I am a bit hurt that she hasn't talked to me about it. But I can understand, when I was her age I didn't talk to my mom about every little detail in my life. I was thinking about it more when I was interrupted by a text from Bex.
B- I'm at the door loser, open it

I chuckle at her text and open the door. "You know you can knock on the door like a normal person and wait form me to open it up then." I say while pretending to be annoyed. "Oh calm your self Lana you know I'm not a normal person" she stated back. We walk in and she sits down. "So what are your plans" I ask. " probably just go to lunch and catch up on life. Maybe crash at my place and watch some Netflix" she answered. "Oh ok, I was wondering something could you ask her if anything is wrong" I reply. "Um ok, why would something be wrong" Bex asked. "Well she has been giving everyone attitude and when I check up on her at night she is crying. I don't know if it's just hormones or if something is actually wrong. She hasn't talked to me, so i thought she might tell you." I say while picking of my nail polish. "Oh course love, I'll make sure to ask." Bex said. By now Ari came downstairs. "Yay Bex your here!" She squeals. "Why wouldn't I be here?" She said with a smile.  I walk them to the door. " Bex and I said our goodbyes when Ari interrupted "will you shut up mom, let's go Bex. Ugh. It's not like you guys don't work together, bye mom. " she said as if she was so annoyed. this took me by surprise. She isn't that extreme. "Ari Mariá.." I started to say with a growl. Then Ari slammed the door closed before  I could Finnish.
(Bex's POV)
I was shocked by Ari's behavior. Now what I whiteness  it I know I had to find out why. It was a silent drive to the coffee shop, Ari just looked out the window." We talked about the show and about the prank that we pulled. We laughed about some other times we had it was going really good. After we after, we drove to my house. " what do you want to watch" I ask her. "She went through my collection and picked 3movies. We finished watching the first one, when I thought it would be OK to bring up what happened. " So what was that soaz at your mom  all about before we left" I ask while we eat our popcorn it was nothing" she replied with  her moth full. "I'm not stupid, that was definitely something, and we aren't going watch the next movie until we have finished this." I say a bit more strict then I thought. "It's not important" Ari grumbles. "It's very important. Unless you want me to drive you back so all 3 of us can talk about this." I say with an eyebrow raised. There is silence and I see tears build up in her eyes. I more close to her and she sits closer to me and lays her head on my chest. Ari takes a deep breath and begins talking. "Why are people so cruel. Kids at school have been pushing me around and send me hate texts and hate on Lana. I try to defend her and myself, but I just get ridiculed. My best fried Ava and I got into a fight and we ARNT friends anymore. She's also been spreading rumors about me. I've been trying to keep in all my emotions, but I've been treating Lana rudely and I know it. I put it all on her. And I don't mean to. She probably hates me right now. Oh god she is going to kill me when we get back." By this time she was crying and cuddling with me. "Babe I know how you feel, I was also bullied at your age. And let me tell you something, the worst thing you can do is not tell some one. Talk to Lana , she is the most caring person I know. And yes she will get  quite protective of you and open a can of butt-kick on who ever hurt her girl. I will stay as a support, but you need to talk to her. I text her
B- we are on our way back to talk to you. Try not to explode.

(Ari's POV)
We get back to the house and the first thing I do is run to Lana and hug her. "I'm so sorry" I cry. "Baby it's ok tell me what's going on" she says soothingly. I take a deep breath and tell her everything.
