Lauren Jauregui became friends with five weird yet amazing girls. Camila, her best friend, keeps on giving her mixed signals which lead to Lauren thinking she has a crush on her. But she soon realizes that she's slowly falling for Camila.

"Hey guys!" Lauren excitedly says as she approaches her friends all seated in a row. From left to right, Ally, Normani, Dalton, and Charles. A lot has happened the past year. Good thing they saved her a seat.
Dalton was a tall guy. Pretty tall to be honest. Has that perfect tan skin and sculpted body, and dark wavy locks. Charles on the other hand is a bit shorter than Dalton. Has pale skin similar to Lauren's, a healthy body, and blonde hair. Dalton sports his signature hazel eyes while Charles has bright blue eyes. To say they were flocked by girls is an understatement.
"Jauregui mah girl, you look.. Different," Dalton her new best friend spoke up, noticing the changes from the Lauren she knew last year, sophomore.
"A good different?" she asks raising a brow at her best friend. "Yep," he popped the p sound at the end. They were all talking about their summer, some of which were adventurous to say the least.
Students were starting to fill in the room. Normani and Ally froze when they saw who was going through the door. Camila Cabello.
They looked at each other in fear on how Lauren would react, they decided not to tell her she's here since she's too occupied in talking about guitar brands.
The teacher got their attention and when she nearly finished her introduction, a student came running in through the door. She was wearing a big baggy blouse and skinny jeans topped off with a SnapBack.
"Uh hello everyone," the new student greeted. Lauren turned her attention from her friends to the petite girl in front of the class. She looked gorgeous. Her facial features are almost similar to Marzia Bisognin.

"Introduce yourself, please." The teacher said as she tidied up some papers on her desk.
"Hi my name is Zhaina Valentine. I'm a transferee from St. Paul High." The petite girl informed the class. Her eyes scanned the room and locks in with the vibrant green ones that standout from the whole class. She gives her a smile and waves her hand. Lauren returns a smile as well as a wave. Camila saw the interaction and glared at the girl in front. She then shifted her gaze to Lauren's group where Normani and Ally were looking at her in sympathy. She nods her head then looks at Lauren's face which bore a wide smile. Flashbacks were filling her eyes as she remembers the times when Lauren had that smile. She knew that smile. That's the genuine smile Lauren has. She sure hasn't seen that in a long time.
"You may take a seat now," the teacher's voice brought Camila back to reality. She diverts her attention from Lauren, hoping that she wasn't caught staring.
Zhaina made her way towards Lauren's group, she greeted them all and shifted her attention to Lauren. "Mind if I sit?" She asked, "No not at all," they both laughed. Camila was watching their interaction from her seat. Dinah then blocked her view to get her attention.
"Mila, not now. Let her be," Dinah warned as she knew what Camila might plan later.
Camila has been really edgy last year. Many guys started flirting with her, she tried dating a few of them but a pair of green eyes won't seem to get out of her head. She's been trying to get her mind off Lauren by dating guys but it turned out the opposite. Whenever she sees Lauren around school, she didn't have the courage to talk to her. She was far too broken. If she does more damage to her, she'll probably break.
As if she wasn't broken already.
Throughout a whole year she's been fighting the demons of her past, the demons that were holding her back from loving Lauren. This time, she was determined to get Lauren. She'll get her girl back.
Class flew by in a jiffy. Lauren was getting really accustomed to Zhaina. They talked about interests, hobbies, dislikes and likes, and all those basic stuff you ask each other when you're starting out. When classes ended, Zhaina wanted Lauren to hang by her house for a little video game session. Lauren, who has been very fond of video games since last year, of course didn't turn down the offer. Dalton and Charles heard this and they were invited over as well. Throughout the whole conversation, Normani and Ally were giving weird looks at Zhaina. You could spot a mile away that the girl has some crush on Lauren. They noticed the subtle touches, the way she talks to her, her blushing, and the spontaneous hangout she planned just to have time with Lauren. Of course she invites Dalton and Charles over to avoid being too suspicious. But Zhaina's eyes were on Lauren and her only for the whole day.
Once class was over, Lauren told Zhaina to wait for her outside. The girl nodded politely and proceeded to head out. Lauren then jogs to her friends who were conversing among themselves when Dinah and Camila walked towards them. She stops for a moment and ponders. She's better than before. She's not the naive version of herself anymore. She's not the broken Lauren everyone saw last year. No, she changed.
She approached the group nonchalantly, "Hey guys," she waved at everyone. "Dalton, Charles, and I are gonna hang with Zhaina. I'll see you guys tomorrow!" She waves happily at everyone then dragging Dalton and Charles outside, where a grinning Zhaina awaits them. Lauren returns a grin as well and the group went on their way.
"Cool ride," Lauren spoke from the front seat when the four of them entered Zhaina's car. "Thanks."
The ride to Zhaina's residence was filled with banters between her and Lauren while the boys tried flirting with her. She was too enamored by the green eyed girl to notice the attempts. Dalton soon noticed that Zhaina was making 'goggly eyes' at Lauren for the whole ride. He rolls his eyes and snickers Charles.
"Dude, I think someone's got a crush on our Laurenza." Dalton whispers to Charles who he got his attention by elbowing him on his side. "Okay, ow." Charles started, "I mean really? How could you tell?" He asked innocently.
Dalton rolls his eyes and grasps Charles' face and turned it to Zhaina and Lauren's direction. They were currently at a stop light and they were engrossed on a topic about which is better: Xbox One or Ps4. Lauren was rambling on and on how Ps4 was so much better than any other console. She was so deep in her 'speech' that she uses her hands for emphasis. Zhaina on the other hand was just absentmindedly nodding her head as if she was listening intently to her. And they saw it.
"Shit," Charles cursed under his breath. Zhaina's right hand was creeping towards Lauren's slap, slowly but surely. The green eyed girl doesn't notice at all but the two at the back saw it all. Once Zhaina's hand reaches Lauren's lap, a loud beep could be heard behind them. She quickly retracted her hand and positioned it on the stick shift. She just laughed nervously by the embarrassing encounter. "Guess we were too distracted," she glanced at Lauren for a second. "Yeah," the green eyed girl laughs as well.
"We're here," Zhaina stops her car in front of a fancy-looking gate. She sounded her horn two times and a maid came running towards the gate and opened it. She proceeds to drive to the open garage and parks the car besides a Lamborghini. Now, Lauren and her friends don't know much about cars but they do know which cars are expensive and just by looking at it, they know. Zhaina got out of her car and jogs towards Lauren's side and opens the door for her with a bow and an open hand in front. Lauren chuckles at the girl's silliness and takes the hand anyway, with a bow and curtsy, clearly playing with her.
"Welcome to my humble abode!" Zhaina says with an old English accent as she gracefully waves her hand to the mansion-like house.
"Wow.." Lauren, Dalton, and Charles chorused in amazement.
In the corner of Dalton's eye, he sees Zhaina's lips curving up into a smirk.
