Frankie's POV.
Last nights events were too shocking even for myself. Learning about Draculaura's culture the fight between Claudine I'm physically drained a full day of charging has been required.
I unplugged myself and stepped of my bed. I unbolted the door and headed for upstairs.
I walked towards the kitchen area and on the table was a note.
-Frankie your mum and I have had to go to an early meeting. We have left you some money and we expect you to feed Wotzit. Be back soon love parents. -
Great another day with the house to myself. I couldn't stand it any longer I grabbed my jacket and left slamming the door behind me. I decide to make a quick detour and knock on for Clawdeen.
"Frankie you know I'm excited to see you and all, but I'm nowhere near ready and by the looks of things you don't look it either," Claudine says.
"I know. I just couldn't stand being at home on my own and I understand we both aren't exactly appropriate to be out," I reply.
"Your parents gone early again? I need a couple of hours to get ready, why don't you go home and feed Wotzit and get ready yourself and I'll call the girls and we can all go out because you look like you need cheering up," Claudine spoke softly and reassuring.
"Yeah I'm sure it's the best thing to do and I'm fine, really...," my voice trailed off a bit. "I'm just not feeling myself today,"
"We'll talk about it later, I'll text you!," Claudine pulled me in for a hug and then closed the door.
I walked up back to my house and let myself in through the front door.
"Wotzit!," I called.
A very lively puppy scampered through to the hall.
"Are you hungry?," I cooed.
He replied with barking and yelping I suppose that meant yes? I went to the cupboard and picked up a huge bag of food. Okay so he is made out of different particles, but my dad had him built so he could eat regular food. Otherwise people would suspect something's not right.
After feeding him I lounged on the steel sofa and watched a bit of TV. I flickered through the channels trying to find something to entertain me so far nothing worked.
My phone beeped I hoped it was Claudine telling me she was ready I unlocked it ecstatic to see who it was from the face expression changed drastically as it was just a reminder on a game. Brilliant! (:Hint of sarcasm filled the air.)
Lorraine's POV.
*Beep.* Beep.*
I fluttered my eyes wide open. I couldn't get to my phone the instant it beeped I floated around in my water filled base a little while longer.
*Beep.* Beep.*
I gave up and eventually got out and towel dried my hair and then wrapped it around my body.
I shivered with coldness as I leaned over and grabbed my phone I squinted my eyes.
"Lori we need to cheer Frankie up she's a bit depressed lately with her parents being away you coming out later?," - Clawdeen.
I checked the time half twelve seems like a reasonable time for a sixteen year old girl to wake up.
"Bless her and sure I'll be out later I need to get ready. You told Cleo?," I hit send and decided to get a move on with getting ready.
A few moments went past and I received another message. I was in the middle of curling my long blonde hair with hints of baby blue streaks.
" Yeah I told her first as she takes forever to get ready, nearly a century. *Inserts wink face.*," - Clawdeen.
This time I waited a little while longer to reply back. I haven't decided what to wear and we'll be meeting up soon maybe I should just text Clawdeen to tell her I'm running a little late...
Draculaura's POV.
I can't believe last night actually happened? I am still wide awake I'm frightened to fall asleep and then wake up and realise it was just some deluded, silly dream. I'm dreading that's what will happen if I just doze of for a while I don't want that to happen in the slightest. I wouldn't change a thing what happened last night apart from being woken up by Uncle Val, but other than that it was spectacular!
"What are your plans today then?," Uncle Val entered the kitchen.
"Well Claudine texted me about half an hour ago to go to the cinema or catch a bite to eat or something, anything to cheer Frankie up!," I insisted.
"Laura you've had hardly any sleep don't you think you should get some rest?," Uncle Val pleaded.
"I'm fine honestly I just need to see the girls!," I say.
"Now I understand you've made new friends and settling in a new place isn't easy, but you have to put your health first," Uncle Val wasn't giving up.
"But everyone is going out I can't not go. Frankie isn't herself at the moment don't friends support each other?," I practically begged to go out.
"Frankie charges herself.
Cleo is a mummy and sleeps half the time.
Claudine barely gets any sleep anyway.
And as for Lorraine she soaks herself up in a tank full of valley water and that refreshes her.
Lala you need your sleep, we are vampires and we can't function without it!," Uncle Val speaks up.
I couldn't think of anything else to say because all what he said was true and if I did learn one thing about researching my history it did mention something about needing sleep is important.
It looks like I'm not going out today then.... I'm a Vampire like he says doesn't that mean I can go out at night? ---- "Of course after you've had sleep," Uncle Val interrupted me.
I hate when he does that.
