The Punch

Chapter 6

The next day was even worse, nurses came in stuck neetles in my poor arm, taking blood, giving me fluids. I felt miserable anyway but this made it worse. My mom said that Melody would be here today. My brother was here yesterday, he always has homework to do, he couldn't come in today. My dad has not come in to see me at all, either he's on a trip or on a trip with his girlfriend, he always comes when my brother has the littlest thing going on but when I'm in the hospital he ain't coming, I'm not really sad about it, I'm just angry. And on top of that later today I'm supposed to be having eye surgery.
The last nurse came in with a little cup of medicine, then following her was my cousin and a few other people.
" Alex" said while run to my bedside
" are you ok!, why do you have an eye patch, and why do you have some meny IVs in your arm!!" Melody said panicky
" Yes I'm ok, and I have to have this eye patch on so that nothing can get into my eyeball before the surgery, and I have no idea why the put so meny IVs in my arm."
Then she leaded over and hugged me, then I looked up and saw Anna, Samantha, Camila and Thorn in my room looking at me scaredly.
" hey guys..." I said
" I thought that you were dead!" Anna said.
" I thought I was to" I said while laughing.
" so what has happened in the four days that I have been gone?" I said
" nothing much besides everyone is trying to find who did this to you and Helen is being a bitch and saying that she's had worse situations then you have had and that why shouldn't you be in the hospital not in school." Thorn said
" of course...wait! everyone is trying to find who did this to me!" I said
" yes" said Thorn
" wow I thought no one else noticed me" I said
" so can you make it to the trip?" Asked Melody
" I honestly don't know" I said
" well on the bright side... Anna and me made you a card and we got everyone to sign it, well... almost everybody." said Samantha
Anna took out a big card and handed it to me. The card was white and covered in glitter, definitely the work of Sami, and I opened it up to see dragons all over the inside, and with each dragon someone's name was on it. I looked at all of the signatures, I saw the teachers, my friends, everyone else, besides Helens and Kai's.
" Thank you!!" I said happily
" we tried to get Kai's but he didn't want one, Camila even tried to force the pen down his throat." Anna said and while she said that Camila smiled like a psychopath.
" it's ok" I said back
But in my mind I was rethinking about my crush, now I hate him.
Then we talked for 2 more hours, we talked about our funny memories and anything in general. Then the doctor came in,
" I'm sorry to say this but you guys have to step out." He said
" why" asked Melody
" it's time for her surgery." He said
" bye guys" I said
" we will be back" Melody said
" thank you guys" I said and then the door closed.
