Chapter 17

The next day was better, people talked to me with out looking at my eye patch. It was the last period of the day, which was math class. We were reading math equations on the board, me being with one eye I could bearly read it. And on top of that I was dyslexic so that made it 50 times worse. We went along the room to read and it came to be my turn.
" ok Alex can you read it!" Said the teacher
" ya" I said back
" Mark went up the bill to get to the well, what was the angle of the bill" I read the problem, first of all what kind of question is that.
Helen started to laugh, " bill instead of hill!" She continued to laugh, " what are you dyslexic!" She said while laughing.
Everyone went silent, I slammed my fist into the desk and I stood up and started to walk out, crying as I did that. The teacher tried to stop me but I opened the door and I ran down the long hallway to the band room, the only place where I'm not bullied. I nocked on the band room door and I ran into a practice room and I closed the door and I balled out crying. I ripped off my patch and throw it on the ground.

When she opened the door I ran after her, running down the hallway, i could here her cry, she turned to the band room. I heard a door open and I heard a door close. I banged on the door, I looked back and I saw Camila, Anna, Sami, and Thorn running to me. The door opened and I held the door open for them. I looked at the band teacher and he pointed at the practice room door. I told them to stay back, I nocked the door.
" Alex..."
" go away!"
I opened the door and saw here in the corner of the room all red, head buried in her knees. Her eye patch was on the floor, I picked it up, I kelt down to her and rub her back, she raised her head and I saw her eye, it looked like it had been scratched by a cat or something. She was still crying, she hugged me like I did to her in the hospital. Then the others kelt down to her and joined the group hug. Then she coughed all of a sudden and she felt warm. Then she stopped crying and raied her head.
" Alex do you feel all right?" I asked
She shook her head,
" Someone call her mom!" I ordered
Sami grabbed her phone and called her and explain what happened.
After an hour she came into the band room and held her up.
" I'm taking her to the hospital!, and tell the bitch if she wants to mess with my daughter she has to come to me!" She said.
