Chapter 14: News and Baekhyun Being Dumb

[Eunmi's POV]

I came to school alone because Baekhyun wasn't picking me up. He didn't even replied my text. I've called him but he didn't answer. Then, I saw a familiar figure.

"Chan?" I said and he turned around. "Hey Mimi." he smiled widely. I ran to him and hugged him tightly. "Yah!! Where have you been!? I hate you." I said and I'm almost rear up. He chuckled and broke the hug. He wipes my tears. "Sorry, I wanted to tell the other day but you're so busy."

"What do you want to tell me?"

"Err, I was cast by SM." he rubbed his nape. "Which is why I didn't attend school. I'm sorry Eunmi-ah."

"That's great news but Chan...." I looked at him in sadness. "I'll miss you."

He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Don't worry, I'm still here and I'll wait for them to apporved me."

"Promise me you'll won't leave me?"

"I promise." he pinched my nose and wrapped his arm around me. "Where's Baekhyun? Isn't he always be with you?"

"I don't know. Can I ask you Chan?"

"Go ahead."

"Did you know Baekhyun work in a restaurant?"

Chanyeol looked at me in confuse. "What are you talking about? He always visit his parents in Sincheon."

I narrowed my eyes. So no one knows that Baekhyun's work. "Did you see him work in a restaurant?" he asked. I shook my head. "Maybe I saw someone else."

"Are you sure?" Chanyeol asked and I nodded. "Did you hear my news?"

Then Chanyeol smile fade. "I heard about it." he said. "From Mrs Park?" I asked and he slowly nodded. I sighed hardly. "It just so sudden."

"I can't bully you already." Chanyeol pouted. "What are you effin talking about!? You're my body Chan. You can come anytime!"

Then we arrive at our class. "I know. You just couldn't resist on me." he said confidentially. I rolled my eyes. Yeah, yoda is back.

FAST FORWARD

School ends and it's boring for me. But Chanyeol never give up to cheer me up. He's a happy virus anyway. We came to the cafeteria and found Chen alone. "Chen Chen Chen!!" Chanyeol whined and hugged Chen tightly. "Aigoo!! This yoda!! Where have you gone?" Chen said while chuckled. Chanyeol shrugged his shoulder. Maybe he's not ready to tell the others about his casting. "Where's the sophomore?" Chanyeol asked.

"You miss us!?" Kai,and Sehun hugged Chanyeol from the back. All of them are playing. I smiled at them. It's fun to watch them so happy. Especially Chanyeol. He needs more of the happy moment.

But where's Baekhyun? He should be here. "Baekhyun-ah!!" Chen called his name. I turned around and out eyes meet. Baekhyun was looking at my direction. Chanyeol notice us and he greeted. "Hey buddy." he said to Baekhyun. Baekhyun turned to look at Chanyeol and smile widely. They brother hug to each other. "You look gloomy today. Something happen?" Kai asked Baekhyun. He just shurgged his shoulder. "I'm just tired." Baekhyun replied and sit down beside me. I blinked my eyes. "Sorry I couldn't go with you to school." he said and look at me.

I shook my head. "No big deal." I fake smile. I'm not happy because he doesn't explain everything. Baekhyun look at me with a thin smile. Then, my phone ring. I look at the ID.

Kris Wu

I looked at them. "Go ahead." Chen smile. I smile back and nodded. I pick it up.

"Oh hey Kris." I said. All of their eyes looked at me with shocked. "Uhm, yeah. I'm in school."

"Huh? You're here?" I said.

"Yes, I'm here Eunmi." I turned my head and Kris smiled widely. He give me a bouquet of flower. "Hyung?" Baekhyun called him.

Kris looked at him and smile. "Hello Baekhyun." he greeted. All of them were shocked. "When did you came here?" Chanyeol asked.

Wait, how did they know Kris? "Since last week."

"You said you're getting married so that's mean...." Sehun looked at me. Kris chuckled and held both of my shoulder. "Yes, Eunmi is going to be my fiancée."

All of them were shocked. Chanyeol stood up and look at me. I looked at him in apologise look. "This is so sudden." Kai said. "Wait, how did you guys know Kris?" I asked them. All of them exchange look.

"Well, we're friends since childhood." Chen explained. "Well, that's explain a lot." I said. I looked at Baekhyun and he wasn't even smile or talk.

When I look around, all of the students gazed were here because Kris is super damn handsome. Some of them were like fangirling and some are looking at me with death glared. I stood up. "Kris, can we just get out here?" I asked him. He was so clueless with the surrounding. "I can send her home hyung." Chanyeol and Baekhyun said at the same time. Kris looked at them. "Don't worry. I have my car."

"No, I rather walk." I said to him and smile softly. I looked Baekhyun and our eyes meet. just stop staring at me like that. You make me fall in love with you more.

"Are you sure?" Kris asked. I nodded and was about to left the place. I walked out from the gate and sighed hardly. Why my life is mess up? I walk alone here again. Without Chanyeol or Baekhyun.

Then, I feel someone garbled my wrist. I turned around and I was shocked. "Hyun..."

"Why are you avoiding me Eunmi? Is it because you've seen me in the restaurant?" he said. I shook my head. "It's nothing." I avoid his gaze.

"Liar."

"Don't do this to me Baekhyun."

"Tell me why you've been acting like this."

I looked at him with anger.

"It's because I like you!!" I blurted out. I was shocked and closed my mouth. He was shocked too and finally release my wrist. I turned my head and to my surprise Chanyeol was there too.
