Chapter 25: Avoid

[Eunmi's POV]

I woke up and found that I'm in a white room. Smells of medicine. I'm sure I'm not in my own room.

Last time I was conscious is that I'm happy with Chanyeol. But then, I feel dizzy in head and I collapsed. I've been like this for few weeks. Ever since that I'm dating with Baekhyun. I thought that I'm thinking too much or lack of sleep.

Then, I heard the door open and reveal Chanyeol. I look at him and he doesn't look happy. "Chan?" my voice crack. He look at me and went near to my place. "Have you get a good sleep?" he asked me and held my hand tightly. "Why am I here?" I ignore his question. "You were collapse. I was scared so I bought you here."

"You know that I hate hospital."

"I'm sorry, I'm just worried about you." he kissed my hand. I smile softly and cherish his cheek. "Can I get out of here?"

"Of course, but I need to tell you something?"

"What is it Chan? Am I sick?"

Chanyeol look at me in concern. I hate this. I hate it whenever he's being serious. It's unusual for me. "Start talking."

He took a deep breathe and explain to me everything. I just listen and sound there. I wasn't able to speak. I'm going to die soon. I'm sick. I tried not to break down in front of Chanyeol but I can't help it. Tears start to fall down to my cheek.

I have a brain tumor.

Chanyeol left me alone. I need some time alone. Then my phone rang. I look at the ID and it's Baekhyun.

"Hello?"

"Eun, where are you? Are you okay? I heard that you're in the hospital."

By listing to Baekhyun makes me sad. I feel like breaking down. I bit my lips while sobbing.

"Eun, say something babe. Which hospital are you at? Let me go to you."

I took a deep breath. Trying not to crack my voice.

"I'm fine Hyun. I'm just restless. Chanyeol is with me. You don't have to come here."

"How I wish I could escape the class and find you."

I almost forgot that I've got to attend class. Chanyeol is here as well.

"I'll see tomorrow. Don't worry too much Hyun. I love you." I said. I heard him sighed. "Damn, I already miss you here. I love you more than you do." I chuckled. "Talk to you later puppy."

After talking to Baekhyun, Chanyeol came in. He sat beside me on the side of the bed. "Are you feeling better?" He asked me. I nodded and held his hand. "You didn't attend class."

"We didn't attend class."

Both of us chuckled. "Chan, I don't want to be here. Can we just go home?"

"Yes, you can go home Mimi. But you need to rest at home."

" I know. I don't feel like to go out as well."

Chanyeol nodded and kiss my temple.

After few hours waiting for the doctor approval that I could discharge from the hospital. Chanyeol never leave my side. We went to my house. Probably mother is not around. Chanyeol help me lead to my room. He even help me with the bed. He's doing it everything. "I can do it Chan."

"Its fine Mimi. I'm doing this because I feel sorry. I wasn't on your side all this time. When you need someone, I wasn't there."

"Chan, I don't want to hear this. You know that I've care about you as well."

He looked at me.

"How are you going to tell Baekhyun?"

"I won't. I just want to avoid from him."

Chanyeol just keep in silent. "Sleep well." He said and left the room. I laid on the bed and stare at the ceiling. Not that long I drift to sleep.

~ Next Day ~

I woke up an feel a bit dizzy. But yesterday is much worse. I slowly stood up, trying not to collapse. I wash myself and prepare to go to my class. Chanyeol came with me. I came in the class and sat down my place. Channel decided to sit with me. Everyone was whispering about us. I mean, Chanyeol suddenly sit with me back. It's been a while.

I wasn't focusing in class. I've got no mood to even study. It's lunch time. I'm going to meet Baekhyun. I should give some excuses. "Chan, you go ahead. I need to go to the library."

"I'll come with you." He said. I shook my head. "You go ahead and have lunch with the others. I'll catch up later."

"Call me if anything happen." He said and look at me worried. I smile and gesture him to go on. We bid goodbye and separate our own ways. Maybe I need to avoid Baekhyun in a mean time. I hope he could understand me.

I was on my to the library when I saw Baekhyun and Chen just got out from there. I widened my eyes and try to hide myself. I hope I won't get caught because Chen really have a sharp eyes.

"Did you talk to Eunmi?" I heard Chen. "No, I didn't manage to meet her this morning. I hope I could meet her in the cafeteria."

"Awwh, you're really in love bro."

Both of them chuckled. I smile bitter.

I hope you could be like this Baekhyun.

Even when I'm gone.
