~Landon's POV~
I wake up the next morning, and I can't move. Abbie has her leg wrap around mine, and her head resting on my chest. She starts to stir, and she snuggles closer. I try to move out from under her without waking her up. I move her arm and slowly slide out from underneath her. I start to sit up, and move out from under the shelter when I hear her speak from behind me.
"Good morning" She says.
"Morning. Sleep well?" I ask
"Yes I did. What about you? How'd you sleep?" She asks
"I slept well, thanks for asking."
"No problem, want to go and check the traps? See if we caught anything that we can make for breakfast?" She asks as she moves towards the edge of our makeshift shelter.
"Yeah, lets just change, then we can go."
"OK, I'm going to go behind that bush, over there. Stay here and keep an eye on the other two. When I come back, you can go change, while I stay here." She says as she grabs some clothes, and her girl items. She walks behind the bush, and I hear her unzipping her jean shorts. I try not to listen to Abbie change, but it's so quite out here. Jen and Katie are still sleeping, and it may be awhile till the wake up. I'm an early riser, always have been, and I guess Abbie is too. Abbie comes back around, and I take off behind the bush.
I'm just about to put on a clean pair of shorts when I hear Abbie scream my name.
"LANDON! Come quickly!"Abbie yells for me. I come rushing around the side of the bush, pulling up my shorts.
"What is it? What's wrong?" I ask
"There's someone on the beach!" She says, pointing in the opisite direction I came from. I look to where she's pointing and sure enough there is some rubble from the crash, and someone laying on some crates.
"Wait here, and wake up the girls. I'm going to check it out." I say as I grab my large pocket knife out of my bag.
"Be careful Landon. I don't want you to get hurt." She says, her eyes laced with concern.
"I'll be fine. Just please wake up Jen and Katie. Be quite, and make sure you keep them quite too." I say as I head towards the figure. As I get closer I realize that it's two people, instead of one. I'm standing over the two figures laying face down in the sand, when one of the starts to stir. They role over, and I see that it's James Anderson, the star quaterback. He looks up at me, and his eyes go wide. He starts to back away, and I can't figure out why, until I look down and see that the pocket knife is still out. I put it away, and offer my hand to help him up.
"Where are we?" He asks as he takes my hand and stands up.
"We're on some island somewhere. Let's get your friend here, and head back to the girls." I say bending down to pick up Kolten Taylor. James helps me pick him up, and start dragging him back to the girls.
"What girls? Who all is here?" James asks as we start to get closer to our makeshift shelter.
"Well there is Abbie, Jen, Katie, me, and now you guys. The other 4 students from the crash haven't shown up, and if they have, they're somewhere on the island." I say. Once we get closer, I call to the girls who must be hiding. "Abbie, Jen, Katie, it's alright. Come out. It's just James, and Kolten. Kolten's still out, Jen can you go get him some water please?"
Abbie, and Katie come out from behind the bushes, Jen follows shortly after caring some water. I take the water, hand it to James to take a drink. Once he's had his fill, I take it back, and slowly pore some onto Kolten's face. He starts to stir a little bit. I lightly slap his face telling him to wake up.
