Walking through the Dessert of Terra, the sun was shining brightly towards us.
“Can you keep up?”
An unfamiliar voice reached my ear, I looked towards the person who asked me the question. It was Hayate, my uncle.
“Of course” I replied
“Of course you are, Ace” He said with a little smile on his face.
We travel almost 15 kilometer from Grassy Plains to Terra Dessert, we already rested 3 times already, and I was hoping that we were gonna arrive soon to the valley we were headed.
Then I looked at the direction we were headed, the place where The Class Academic Exam is being held, The Valley of Tower Nova.
I could already see the tower it is famous of, without a second though I ran towards the valley with the feeling of excitement.
“Look out!” Hayate shouted
Then the ground began to shake, then something came out in front of me, it was a Dragon Worm. It was huge, half of its body was in the ground, it usually hides underground and wait for its prey, for now I’m its prey.
For some reason I couldn’t move my body.
“I…I’m scared” I said to myself with a trembling voice.
The Dragon Worm moved towards me and opened its mouth as if it’s going to eat me alive.
The moment it got closer to, an arrow pierced trough it’s neck, then Hayate used his sword to cut its head.
“Are you alright?” he asked
“I…I guest so” I replied “T…Thank you Hayate” I said with a shaking voice.
“I told you not to run but you still run” he said to me.
“S…Sorry I got excited, I’ll never happen again. So s…stop scolding me” I replied.
“Luckily it wasn’t a high class monster” he said with a glad voice.
“B…but where did the arrow came from?” I asked
“The arrow came from me”
Someone came near us wearing a cape, a bandana and a mask.
“Oh! Angela, long time no see” Hayate said
Then she took off her bandana and mask, she has a long black hair and red colored sharp eyes. She looked like bounty hunter with her dress.
“Long time no see Hayate!” she replied.
“Thank you for saving my nephew” he said.
“No need to thank me, this thing is my target anyways” she said.
From the look of it, I bet killing that Dragon Worm is one of her mission.
“A…Angela was it? T…Thanks you for saving me” I said to her
“Like I said, it was my target, but… you’re welcome” she said with a beautiful smile.
My uncle was looking at her like there was no tomorrow, and his almost drooling.
After that, she left with the Dragon Worm’s head. I was right about killing it was her mission and the head will be proof. Then we started walking.
“Uncle, Killing the Dragon Worm was her mission, right?” I asked Hayate
“Well, yes” He replied
“Oh, do you like her?” I asked
“W...What are you talking about?” He said blushing.
“Oh… You like her!” I said teasing my uncle.
“S…Stop that! I…I don’t like her at all” he replied “Other than that, you’re gonna be late for the registration”
“W…What?! We better hurry uncle!” I said then dashed to the valley.
We rushed to The Valley of Tower Nova where The Class Academic Exam is being held.
