Seriously - I could NOT believe how lucky I was that there was a movie called Julian!!! OK so it's not a movie it's like a short. But still - it counts. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2041386/  unfortunately there was no soundtrack, so enjoy this compilation fo the best soundtracks from Hans Zimmer. Seriously, he is my FAVOURITE composer - he does Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lone Ranger and a whole heap of others. He's awesome. :)

I wake up coughing so hard I think my ribcage is going to burst and I'm going to die. Then something hits the side of my head gently.

My eyes snap open to see a few different things. First, I can see the side of a ship, and for one blissful second I think I've made it back to the ship I've called home for the past few days. But no, as my eyes adjust to the light, something I definitely don't want to see is staring at me. The face of someone I don't know.

I sit up, slowly and painfully, feeling a railing behind my back. My  hand reaches up to feel the back of my head, which - surprise - has a lump on it. I could say a million things right now - what the heck am I doing here, who the heck are you, why did you kidnap me (that's starting to get a little old). All I manage is something of a groan crossed with a whine.

"Geez. Sorry to have to knock you out so hard but I really didn't want to have to fend off all captain tiny's million minions." A rather jovial voice says. The voice matches the face I'm staring at - untamed blond hair and eyes sparkling with mischief. "That little kid sure fought hard - boy - I don't think I've seen Heckler have to fight off anyone that good before. Except for me of course."

During his chatter, I slowly take in the rest of the deck. Crew members are going about their business everywhere, seemingly oblivious to what's going on a few metres from them. "Who are you?" I ask groggily. "And... what exactly am I doing here?"

"The name's Julian - the fiercest and most well known pirate of the seas. You heard of me?"  He smiles mischeviously.

"I've never heard of you." I confirm.

"Of course you haven't. I don't suspect you even knew what a pirate was."

"Actually... the hangings of pirates were commonplace back where I come from..." My comment seems to freeze the air around us. Messy blond hair stares at me for a few seconds, unnerved.

"So... what exactly is going on?" I break the awkward silence. "I feel like the most wanted person alive right now."

"Ah, didn't your charming captain tell you everything?" He jumps to his feet and reaches down to help me up. "Well since I am much more of a gentlemen, won't you come in and dine with me?"

Reluctantly, I follow him through a wooden door, conscious of the crew's staring looks. In front of us, a huge meal spreads out the length of the cabin.

"Wow." I breathe. This is about a million times better than Beefy's 'feasts.'

"Take a seat." He thumps down at the head of the table. "You must be hungry."

"I'm more hungry for information." I take a sip of the sour wine. "Why did you kidnap me?"

"Kidnap is such a strong word..." He begins, taking a bite of his food.

"Come on." I scowl. "You took me without my consent. That's kidnapping. And right now you could be hung."

"You know you have a father and mother other than our wonderful King and Queen, right?" He puts a hand on his heart and says, very sarcastically: "God save the king!"

"Yes, I got that." I will him to get on with it.

"Well, see, unlike your charming pirate friend, I'm taking you to see your father out of the goodness of my heart."
