So once again a movie I haven't seen but it looks kind of cool. See I have this sort of 'obsession' with swords. I like them a lot. Not guns, but sword, because you can fight with them... haha. Enjoy. :) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112800/ because this is korean film - well I don't know if that's the actual REASON, but it doesn't have any music that I could find. So please injoy 'Requiem For a Dream' - one of my favourite songs. :)
Before I go out on deck, the interst in the dog takes over. I climb down to the dungeon-like place and untie a bone like Hook did. Instead of throwing it to him, I take down the key that's hanging next to the cell and try to tempt the dog over to the bars. Rusty looks up and growls softly as I approach.
"There, it's alright." The key clicks in the lock. He jumps to his feet menacingly, growling harder.
"Here." I put the bone down and step away. "It's all yours." Easing the door closed, I step back to watch him devouring the hunk of meat off the bone, licking it tenderly before it disappears. He looks up at me expectantly, eyes wide, and then, against all hope, his tail thumps against the cage.
"I know, that was fun, wasn't it?" I ease the door open again. He growls, showing his teeth. "OK, OK." I close the door and his tail once again thumps the side. I reach a finger through the bars, holding it hesitantly as he walks forward to sniff it. I think he's going to bite it off when he opens his mouth, but instead, he licks it and licks his chops, tail thumping harder.
I pat his wiry fur, and then reach up to open the door again. He steps back but doesn't growl. "Good boy." I pat my leg. He doesn't move, but his teeth aren't barred. He's watching me closely. I shut the door again, not bothering to lock it, and smile at him. Then, he turns his head to the side, at a noise, and that's when I catch a glimpse of a small key on his collar. The key is identical to the one I now wear around my neck - the key that opened the box - the key that sent shivers down my spine when it left Mother and rested on my neck.
"Ready to come out, boy? I think you've been in there long enough." I ask, fumbling with the latch. It opens at last. He looks at me hesitantly, then steps forward. "Come on. That's good." I put my hand out. He runs all the way to it, tail wagging hard against my leg.
"Good boy." I pat his head. "Let's go show the others what you can do, hey? No running off this time." I feel weird that I could get a dog to trust me so fast, but something just clicks with us - like we have some sort of unknown connection. He trusts me and I trust him.
I lead the way, but Rusty clearly knows where he's going. It takes us twice as long to get up on deck because he has to sniff at everything at least twice.
"Morning." I greet Beefy. He turns around, then his mouth falls open when he sees Rusty. He jumps backwards in a hurry, expecting the dog to start running towards him or something.
"Are you crazy?!" He shouts, trying to run back into the kitchen. With a small woof, Rusty runs to his side, tongue hanging out, and starts licking him.
"Argh." Beefy relents and pulls the dog in for a hug, patting his head. Satisfied he's not going to bolt, I leave them two to sort it out and head over to the side, feeling slightly sea sick. It's the first time I've been on deck for an extended period of time.
"How'd you do it?" Beefy asks, coming up behind me. Rusty pokes his nose under my arm and nudges it.
"I don't know." I say honestly. "It's like we had some sort of... bond." I take a deep breath and throw up over the side, looking towards the horizen. "Ugh. I hate ships."
"Aye, never been sailing before I gather?" Hook joins us on deck, patting Rusty like he belonged there.
"No, what do you think?" I ask. "I'm never allowed to do anything fun." I see Doc coming out of his cabin - confusion on his face as he sees Rusty.
