Still Patrick's P.O.V.

"And now is this relatively new band called Dark Horse, that you all should have heard of by now. And if you haven't, this will definitely make you want to. Here's Dark Horse with..."

I was sitting in a café in Chicago waiting for Pete and Joe to arrive. The past 6 months had been crazy with the band and touring and Save Rock and Roll and so on.

But even after everything I still hadn't forgotten Paige. I wouldn't ever forget her. I thought about her most nights and during the day too. I missed her, I missed her voice and her laugh and her smile and her eyes and...

Even the girl from Dark Horse, singing on the radio was starting to sound like her.

Dark Horse, as the radio had said was relatively new. I hadn't heard much of them, but they were good. Apparently they were an all girl band. They were playing in Chicago that weekend.

"Hey is that...?"

"Oh wow, I think it is!"

There was a group of girls staring over at my direction. I smiled as they scrambled over, but to my surprise they walked straight passed my booth, to the one behind me.

Well that was awkward. I wondered who could possibly be behind me. As I waited for the girls to leave the song on the radio finished and it was replaced by Light em' up. Whoever was behind me sighed loudly. The girls had gone now.

From the window I could see Pete and Joe coming towards the door, I got up and walked over to see who it was. But nothing could prepare me for what I saw.

It was her, 6 months and I had found her. There was so much I wanted to say to her, but it all that came out was a chocked "Paige?"

She looked different, she had died her hair blue and, I don't know, different. One thing was for sure, her facial expression was a mixture of shock and anger.

"P-Patrick?"

"I-I" before I could do anything she got up and shoved passed me, trying to run out the door. Pete and Joe came in at the same time and she ran into them instead.

"Hey watch it!" Pete sounded annoyed, "wait aren't you that girl from Dark-"

"S-sorry, I have to go." She shoved past him and out the door.

"Paige!" I shouted, finally realising that I had to go after her.

"Dude, who was that?" Joe asked.

"I'll explain later. I have to go."

"But-" Pete called after me but I just ran. I had found her. Accidentally, but I had found her. I was not going to give up now.

No, no, no!

This was not happening. I had not tried to cut everything to do with Fall Out Boy and Patrick Stump out of my life for half a year, just to run into him at a cafe. No.

I didn't leave my apartment for a week, I was too busy crying. He was all I thought about. Why hadn't I known he hated me? It took everything I had to persuade Dee not to ring up Patrick. It took everything Sarah, Dee and Mels had and a little bit more to coax me out of bed and leave my old life behind.

We had no idea Dark Horse would become such a success, but it helped my friends and I. We were playing a gig in Chicago that evening. As I ran, I kept thinking that I shouldn't have gone out of the tour bus. But Dee and Sarah were fighting over the set list and Mels was playing referee and I couldn't take it.
