Chapter 3

none's pov:

The team went down to the lounge area where Batman was waiting for them. They all went in and sat down. As soon as they did Batman started talking and he said "team I am going to be on an off world mission with the league so you need to go to Gotham and catch an girl assassin that goes by the name Deadnite, don't be fooled by how young she looks she is very deadly and she has wings and powers unlike any I have ever seen". The team all looked at him and nodded there heads and stayed silent still paying attention as Batman continued talking "this is a capture operation so you need to stay in the shadows for a bit" "yes Batman" The team said and walked to the bio ship. They all got on board and went to Wayne Labs and hid as M'gann set up a mental link

Shana's pov:

I flew and thought about my punishment if I failed as I made my way to Wayne Labs. I feel bad because Mr. Wayne is a great man, he donates to fix hospitals and has charitiy parties to help fix Gotham. on the bright side Cheshire is here. Cheshire is my BVF(Best Villain Friend) and we used to hang out a lot until her dad decided villains can't have allies let alone friends. Anyway we reached Wayne Labs and opened up a window in the roof and silently flew in on the rafters. I looked down and saw no one so me and Cheshire jumped down and went to grab the chip but then we were surrounded by the mini justice league. I gave the device to Cheshire and said "Chesire run and give this to my Master I will take care of them" She looked a little hesitant before giving a nod and leaving to give Master the chip. I started to fight them and I won so far against Superboy, M'gann, and Kid Flash. I started to fight Artimis when I felt pain in my stomach but I continued to fight until the pain got to be too much and I started screaming and then my vision got blurry and I let the darkness take me as I collapse but was caught by a pair of strong arms

Artimis's pov:

Deadnite was doing really well against us. She had already taken down Superboy, M'gann, and Kid Flash. She then came after me and she did the thing Robin does and disappeared in the shadows and took all my arrows. "Great now I have to fight by using my bow as a weapon ah well" she came out of the shadows and fought me again but not in the shadows then suddenly she got a look of pain on her face but she keep fighting and her breathing was getting heavy when all of a sudden she screamed in pain. I looked over at the team members she did take down and looks like they woke up to her screams and suddenly she started to fall. Luckily Superboy caught her before she hit her head. They all looked at me and I held my hands up defensively and said "I did nothing to her". Superboy looked up and said "guys she is way to light, she feel like a feather in my arms" Kid Flash looked over and said " yeah says the guy with super strength if she is that light then I would be able to pick her up". Superboy then said "ok then Kid Flash you take her in your arms and tell me she has a normal weight" Kid flash took her from his arms and let out a gasp and I looked over and Kid Flash looked genuinely worried "uh guys Superboy was right she is way to light we need to get her back to the mountain and fast". We all ran to the bio ship and flew back to the mountain as fast as we could. Even though she is an assassin she is just a kid and I'm worried.

KF's(Kid Flash) pov:

I ran her to the bio ship and put her in the med bay and asked M'gann to come in here. When she got in the med bay I asked "M'gann can you take her armor and top off and check for wounds" "yes Walley of course I can but I need you to leave" she said. All I did was nod in return and I left the room on my back to my seat I couldn't stop thinking about Deadnite I mean she is only what Robin's age maybe younger. I was deep in thought until I heard M'gann call me back to the med bay. I ran thinking there was trouble and when I got there M'gann had tears in her eyes. "What's wrong M'gann" I asked but I got no answer she just cried until she had calmed herself down enough to say "look at Deadnite" when I went over to the medical bed I saw something horrifying.

M'gann's pov:

When Walley asked me to look over Deadnite I said " yes Walley of course I can v
but you need to leave" because just because she is a villain doesn't mean we can't treat any wounds she has. Walley left and I closed the door and took off her top. When I did I was shocked she had scars all over her body and if you looked closely there were scars on her wings too. There was barely an inch that doesn't have a scar and I could see her Rib Cage for crying out loud. I got over my shock and started to get to work. I quickly hooked her up to an IV to giver her fluids and called Walley back to the med bay. When he got here I was still crying and when he saw me he asked "what's wrong M'gann" I didn't answer I just stood there crying and when I finally calmed down I said "look at Deadnite". He slowly walked over and his eyes went wide with shock. I quickly called the others to the med bay after telling the bio ship to go into Auto pilot. Everyone ran into the med bay hearing the sadness and worry in my voice.

Noone's pov:

When the rest of the team arrived they saw M'gann And Walley in tears. Aqualad spoke up and said "what's wrong is everything ok are any of you hurt". Walley and M'gann shook there heads no and everyone let out a sigh of relief. Walley then spoke up and said "it's Deadnite" Superboy looked angry then he shouted "your crying over the assassin!!!!!!!!!!!!". Walley then got mad and screamed back "look at her and you'll find out!!!!". Aqualad, Robin, and Superboy cautiously walked over to Deadnite and gasped at all the scars on her body and wings.

Robin's pov:

She has scars all over her body and wings. Barely an inch of her body was scar free. I started to cry but we arrived at the mountain so held in my tears and put her shirt and armor back on her and picked her up after unhooking her from the IV and carried her to Batman. I held her tightly as we all ran to Batman. We found Batman, Wonder Woman, and Black Canary in the lounge waiting for us. When they saw our tear stained faces they immediately stood up. They hadn't noticed Deadnite in my arms yet
And asked "are you ok, are any of you hurt, what happened". In unison we all said "Deadnite" and they made a path to me holding Deadnite.

Black Canary's pov:

I look over at Robin and see he is holding a pale and unconscious Deadnite with tears in his eyes. "Robin are you ok" I ask in a quiet, soft voice and he sighs and says "yes I am but Deadnite is another story". "why don't we take her to the medical center and you tell me what happened" I say realizing that Robin is not going to let someone else carry Deadnite he just looks back down at Deadnite and nods. When we got there Deadnite woke up we quickly hooked her up to an IV and got her to calm down because she started shaking and thrashing around while she screamed "please Master I'll do better don't do this" when her episode was over I asked Robin what that was about. He had tears in his eyes and then he did the unexpected he hugged me tightly while he cried into my shoulder. When he had calmed down enough he said "I believe whoever Deadnite was working for abused her when she did something wrong and before you say don't jump to conclusions take off her shirt" then he left the medical center. I was curious and I took off her shirt and gasp I quickly called Batman into the medical room
