Chapter 11

Shana's pov:

I woke up the next morning feeling happy...again. It has been strange not waking up to someone yelling at me, or ordering me around. I got changed into a Orange shirt with holes in the back for my wings and blue jeans and walked out into the lounge. I noticed I was the first one up so I started breakfast. I first started mixing the pancakes then got to work on the eggs. When I was done the eggs I started to cook the pancakes and when they were done I made some maple bacon. I guess they all smelled the bacon because once I put the bacon on everyone woke up. "That smells so good" Walley said and I smiled and said "thank you but if you want any you have to go clean up and get ready for the day". Everyone ran off and I just laughed and put breakfast out and set out plates and silverware for everyone. We all ate the breakfast I made and I ended up making more because of Walley.

Artemis's pov:

After breakfast I started to devise a plan to get Robin and Shana together. When Batman called us "team report to the debriefing room in 5 minutes" and we all ran off to get ready. I got changed and grabbed my bow and my arrows and my back up bow and ran to the debriefing room. I was the first one here then Robin came, then Aqualad, M'gann, Superboy, Soturi and finally Kid Mouth I mean Flash. "Alright team this mission is not to be taken lightly, the Joker has escaped and I need you to bring him down" Batman said then Kid Mouth said "why can't you do it" "I'm on an off world mission" Batman said then he said "oh and Robin your in charge because this is our town". Robin nodded his head and we all headed to the Bio-Ship except for Shana who wanted to fly on her own. "Hey I read up on the joker, and he is bad news" Soturi said threw the com and Robin answered "he is and everyone but Artemis and Soturi has to stay in the Bat-Mobile while we're are looking for him". "What!!?!?, why" whined Kid Mouth and Robin answered "Gotham doesn't like other capes inside her city and Soturi is not formally introduced as a hero yet and when she does her town will be Gotham with me and Artemis" "sweet!!" Me and Shana (in the com) said and we both laughed. When we landed Robin took us to the batcave and I couldn't help but awe at it. It was amazing with a giant computer and all types of gadgets on the wall and the reinforced titanium support for the cave wall. When we were don't gawking at the batcave Robin got in the bat mobile and said "hop in"

Soturi's pov:

"Can you even drive that thing" Superboy asked and Robin answered "yes, of course I can now hop in" and everyone shrugged and hopped in except me. "Come on Soturi hop in" Robin said to me but I just said "I think I will fly with my own wings" then took off. While I was flying I noticed an abandoned building and I heard screaming coming from it so through the com I said "guys I hear screaming in the building" "alright then let's go" Robin answered and I flew over to the building and landed right front of it. When the others arrived we cautiously entered the building only to find.........

When the other arrived we cautiously entered the building only to find it EMPTY!!!! "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" I yelled and then Artemis said "calm down, we all heard something so there has to be something". I took and deep breath and noticed something in the floor. I walked over and saw it was a playing card, a joker to be exact.
