Personality: Nyra has a strong sense of duty. If she is given a job, she gets it done. Failure is not an option. It is has to be done in order for Nyra to be completely satisfied. Nyra is very focused on her task on hand, and will allow no fooling around when doing a task or duty. Nyra is dependable; she will not leave another behind, regardless of the situation. Nyra is very patient with others, who are slower, or less skillful in battle. If she is not leading, she will trail behind everyone to make sure nobody falls behind.    

Nyra is fairly level-headed unless put into a battle situation, or a tough decision. When fighting Titan's, Nyra has no problem going from Titan to Titan and chopping a piece of their neck out. Often, before killing a Titan, she will shove her blades into their eyes to see them suffer, only marking the inner sadist. If someone refuses to cooperate, Nyra doesn't mind cutting into the skin of said person. 

 Nyra is also very cunning and wise. She can trick another into giving her needed information, or manipulate another to think the opposite of Nyra, which she has done many times. Despite being smart, Nyra doesn't wait for a plan to be made. She rushes in for the kill. Thankfully, she has a good understanding and use of the 3DMG, and uses that to her advantage if things do not go as she thought they would. If a plan fails, Nyra is quick to withdraw, while aiding those who are still escaping.    

However, Nyra can also be horribly cold towards other people.    

When not on duty, and is just lounging around with others, Nyra is a very affectionate, protective, and friendly girl. She enjoys sleeping, and will sleep on the tables, chairs, and sometimes on other people. If she is not sleeping, she is either seen eating, cracking a joke, or out with children.

When things come down to Annie, all of Nyra's trust goes towards her. Nyra is confused on whether to treat Annie like her friend, or her enemy. It is clear how distraught Nyra is with this.

History: She and her brother were abused at a young age by her parents. When Nyra's brother was 15, and Nyra only 5, her Brother took her away to live within Wall Maria, after leaving Trost. When Nyra was 6,  Nyra's brother underwent a name change, going from 'Justin Moreau' to 'Noa  Martin'. Nyra's name was also changed by her brother. She went from being 'Anneliese Moreau' to 'Nyra Martin'.    Nyra went on living like most people did. She was never seen without a smile on her face. Nyra never really made friends, preferring to spend the majority of her time with her older brother. When the wall was broken by the Colossal and Armored Titan, Nyra and her brother fled. Upon coming across a friend of Noa's, Nyra willed her brother into stopping and helping him out. When he had come free, a Titan came barreling out of nowhere, making a grab for Nyra, who was thrown to the side by Noa, who in turn for his own sister's life, was eaten. The same fate made for Noa's friend, who pulled Nyra to safety before being devoured. Nyra met Annie before anyone when the two were  getting bread after Wall Maria was lost. After Annie had told Nyra to sign up for Military Training, the blonde soon vanished without a trace.

  Nyra, as Annie had instructed, signed up for Military training. Though she was cold and apathetic, when she saw Annie, Nyra was nonetheless happy, and much happier to have the blonde allow Nyra to be in her company, and with this, Nyra dedicated the most of her time to being with Annie.

This time with Annie allowed Nyra to recognize her as the Female Titan.

Nyra first talked to Jean after he and Eren clashed. She had patched the male up, out of pity at first, before it had turned to something more, and Nyra spent half her time with Jean.

Her love for Jean and her respect and ties with Annie leaves her at a crossroad.
