I enter my therapist's office and take a seat on the lounge. I lean forward and face her. She's wearing her glasses and there's a notepad and pen in her hand. She smiles at me. "Laken, we're going to take off where we finished last week."

I cross my legs and look at the coffee table. "So, you want to know what will full-fill my life?" she nods. I sigh. "As you know I'm a successful businesswoman, twenty-eight years old, I'm single, but, that's not from lack of trying. I've been using the dating sights, even blind dates with the help of my friends and all the guys ever want to do is get into my pants. I'm not going to be used for my lady parts."

The therapist smiles. "If you can't find a man. What's the next thing you want?"

I want kids.

I rise. "I want kids, Cassandra."

She pulls a pamphlet out of the draw. "I thought as much. So, when I visited a friend last week I took this from her. She's waiting for your phone call."

I look at the pamphlet and there's a picture of a woman and child and it says. 'Foster Mom.'

I am going to be a Mom.
