All those stupid girls are still coming to practise. Not girl #1 or Sayuri but random girls from Hinata's class and their year. Kageyama frowns at them from the court, holding the volleyball in his hands tighter than necessary.

"Kageyama!" Someone calls, bringing his attention back to practice.

Shaking his head, Kageyama turns back and focuses on the game. He does his best to ignore the cheers and the shouts from Hinata's fangirls. Kageyama doesn't really understand how one photo has made Hinata so popular. Kageyama knows that Hinata has lots of friends, as many girls as boys, but none of these girls ever came to watch practice before.

Kageyama sighs. The group is only small. Not even ten people and they aren't getting in the way of practice so it's not like he can complain about them. Besides, it would be rude to ask anyone supporting the team to stop.

It's only because he knows they're here because of Hinata. That's the sole reason they annoy him. It's enough to want them gone, though.

They don't matter, Kageyama tells himself. None of them are dating Hinata and he's pretty sure Hinata doesn't want to date any of them. They're here to support Hinata as a sportsmen. They aren't getting any closer to Hinata romantically by being here.

Kageyama is able to focus on practice a lot more after thinking about it that way. He's still not fond of the fact Hinata has fangirls, though.

Practice draws to a close as it approaches six o'clock. The smacking sound of the volleyballs halt and all that can be heard is the squeaking of shoes and a bit of chatter as the gym is tidied. Kageyama doesn't have time to think about what's about to occur in the next hour until he and Hinata have exited the school grounds and started making their way home.

This is it.

Getting answers. Asking Hinata out.

Kageyama's stomach flutters in nervous excitement and the bag on his shoulder suddenly feels ten times heavier with the extra weight of the volleyball brought for Hinata. Kageyama swallows the lump forming in his throat, glancing at Hinata.

"L-Let's sit in the park when we get there."

Hinata glances over at Kageyama and his cheeks suddenly explode with enough colour that Kageyama can see it despite the lack of light. He looks down shyly and nods. "O-Okay..."

The sun hasn't completely set yet but by the time they reach the park it'll be dark. Kageyama hopes Hinata doesn't mind or doesn't think he's trying anything. He's not. He just wants to talk. Maybe a kiss, too, if Hinata isn't opposed.

He hopes that Hinata isn't opposed to a kiss or two. Kageyama feels like it's been far too long since he's properly kissed Hinata. The kiss yesterday in the car hardly counts. That was a brush of lips, not a kiss.

When he thinks about it they haven't actually kissed each other much. The cave is the only time he can be think of when they've taken their time kissing each other. Any other kisses have been little pecks. Not that Kageyama is complaining about the soft, sweet small kisses but he misses the feeling of taking his time kissing Hinata. Kageyama didn't have long at all to get used to the feeling and the idea of kissing Hinata but he doesn't want to ever have to miss it again.

As long as Hinata wants to be his boyfriend, he won't have to miss the feeling of his lips moving against Hinata's own or the feeling of letting his fingers tangle in Hinata's hair. If they become boyfriends he'll experience the feeling of having Hinata on his lap and how it feels to pull Hinata closer by the hips more often.

Kageyama doesn't want to get too cocky right now but he's sure that Hinata will say yes. Everything they've done suggests Hinata wants him too.

Swallowing the lump that had formed once again Kageyama prays he isn't wrong.
