e p i l o g u e back to where it all started

William took me to the park where we grew up in, where he broke his arm, and where he asked me out. He got us a plane to go back to Canada for a week. It's been almost four years, since we both went to the states together. That means we been with each other for five years.

How insane is that?

It was dark out like the last time we've been here.

"You're beautiful," he said looking straight at me when I looked up. He was so sweet. When random comments like these come up, I can't help but blush. "It's cute how things never change. I can still make you blush."

I rolled my eyes, but turned my attention back at the stars above us. He led me up the same hill I was on last time.

"Look down baby," he said kissing my temple. I looked down to see the same candle lit words, but with more words.

"Be my wife?"

I turned my attention back to William who was already on one knee. I felt the water build up in my eyes as tears started to flow down slowly on my face. William looked up at me with the same twinkle in his eyes.

"The first day I ever met you, I thought you were the most gorgeous person out of everyone in the room. You have a smile that lights up people's day. You have the personality that keeps me grounded. Every day I grow to love you more and more. I finally grew the balls to ask you to be my girlfriend five years back, and that was the happiest moment in my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much. Will you marry me?" he asked.

"Yes! Of course! Yes!" I said jumping a bit as tears streamed down my face.

He slid the ring on my finger before picking me up and twirling me.

It was finally going to happen. We were officially engaged. We are gonna get married, but we are both still in college. The only difference between last time and this time is we were alone. If you liked it, then you should have been a ring on it. That's what he did.

"I love you too," I replied giving him a kiss.

"I think I just topped my happiest moment with this," he whispered into my ear.
