(A/N: Updates might be a little slow. I have a lot on my schedule for this Spring from softball, to school, to life in general. So if future chapters are released in a long period of time, just understand that I also have to do some things because of my busy schedule. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to write, but sometimes I just don't have any spare time to do anything. So I will try to update chapters every month. Hope you understand and enjoy this chapter!)

That night I didn't get enough sleep. I was restless by the decision I had to make that would determine Equestria's fall. Sure, Discord was defeated by the Elements of Harmony in the show, but I had all of the answers to prevent it. The fate of Equestria would hang in the balance if I chose to assist Discord with his escape. The alternative was to tell Princess Celestia to cancel any visitation to the stone gardens, preventing any chaos to be unleashed.

Speaking of the princess, I would betray her and all of Equestria while I'm at it. What if she locks me in the dungeon? What if she sends me to Tartarus because of my crimes? What if she did worse? Nopony knows how she will get when she's at that point. But I also didn't want to betray Discord. He is my favorite character and I don't know how I would feel if I spilled the beans to Celestia; she will probably do something horrible with his statue if I go down that path. But, whatever path I choose to take at the crossroads has to be done in a mere of three days!

'Why does this have to be so hard?' I complained in my head.

I looked out the glass window to see the dark night sky with a bright glowing moon. I respected Princess Luna with her work, she does bring out the beauty of the night very well.

I sighed getting out of the bed, knowing that I couldn't go back to sleep with all of these thoughts. Remembering I had wings, I thought of practicing my flying, since I didn't think of doing it for the many hours of being bored; yes I am that oblivious. The only downside was that it was night and every pony would complain if I made too much noise; which is a hundred percent true that I would. So I decided to walk over to my white desk and took out a piece of paper and a pencil. Drawing always helped me calm down my nerves, so why wouldn't it not help now?

I looked out at the beautiful night sky with the view of Ponyville in the distance and started to sketch. It wasn't until an hour later when I was fully finished with the drawing and it looked surprisingly amazing; because I had to hold the pencil with my mouth instead of using hands.

The sun peaked the horizon as Celestia raised the sun to bring the start of a new day. I knew it was early but I didn't have anything else to do so I made my way to the dining hall. The smell of eggs and fresh fruit filled the air already as the chefs began their work to make the staffs' and princesses' meals. I gladly helped myself to a scoop of eggs with sweet melon and sat at one of the tables as staff members started to make their way into the hall. In the middle of my breakfast, a guard walked over with a tray and sat down in front of me.

"Sorry if I bothered you miss, but I thought you wanted some company since you're not sitting with any pony." Said the guard. The guard was a unicorn who was tall yet looked strong with muscle. He had a light green coat with a short pastel yellow mane and golden eyes. His cutie mark was a golden knight's helmet with a white feather on the top.

"Oh that's not a problem. I actually enjoy a little company." I smiled. "My name's Autumn Ruby by the way."

"Golden Blade. But friends call me Gold."

"Well, Gold, it's a pleasure making your acquaintance."

"The pleasure's all mine. I've heard that you are staying here in the castle from Princess Celestia. How are you liking it so far?" Gold asked.

"The castle is absolutely beautiful I must say. But I kind of have to get use to this new experience."

Gold nodded his head, shaking his gold helmet along with him. "Completely understandable. It must be hard transferring into two separate worlds."

"This world will be my home for a while, so I'll just have to get used to it." I shrugged. "I mean I do miss my family but I'll surely see them once the portal opens...in another 30 moons." I said sadly.

"Oh it'll be alright, Autumn. You'll love Equestria, and I almost forgot to tell you that Princess Celestia wants to meet you in the throne room when you're finished with your breakfast. Something tells me that it's important, but you're going to like it." Gold said.

"Thanks for telling me." I nodded.

For about ten minutes, Gold and I finished our breakfasts while chatting about our past and our interests. I stood up to leave for the throne room.

"I should go. I don't want to keep Princess Celestia waiting any longer." I said. "But I am glad that I met you. Hopefully we'll see each other around soon."

"Of course! And good luck with everything. Goodbye Autumn."

"Bye Gold."

Princess Celestia was sitting on her majestic throne when I entered the throne room. A hint nervousness filled my stomach. What if she found out that Discord offered me a deal to help him on his freedom? Even though that was impossible because he said it in my mind I still was worried about it. And Gold did say it was something that I would like so I guess there's no way for me to be nervous...right?

"You wanted to see me Princess Celestia?" I said

The white pony nodded standing up from her throne and walking towards me.

"I have spoke with my student, Twilight Sparkle, about your current situation and about you needing a place stay for the next 30 moons. She is more than willing for you to stay in Ponyville. Twilight has already picked the house you will be living in."

"REALLY, I'M GOING TO BE STAYING IN PONYVILLE?! THAT'S SO-" I coughed realizing that I was getting out of control. "I mean... It's an honor that you think I'm ready to live in a more permanent home." I smiled embarrassed

Princess Celestia chuckled in her enchanting voice. "I'm glad you feel that way, Autumn. You may leave tomorrow at dawn if you wish."

I nodded. "Of course, thank you Princess."

"Now you should start your packing. You've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow. Twilight and her friends will meet you at the train station when you arrive."

"I'm going to be staying in Ponyville! And I'm going to meet the Mane 6!"

I bounced around my room as I started to pack for Ponyville. Not only I am going to meet the Mane 6, but I'm going to live in my very own house in Ponyville! Can this get any better?
