Chaos Comes with Discord

The Voice

Yay first story!! Hopefully it'll go well as planned!

Sometimes I don't feel so special, just an ordinary teenage girl with nothing else better to do with life. I spend my days drawing, reading, and writing fanfictions. But one of the things I look forward to everyday is watching my favorite show: My Little Pony.

Yes, it may seem weird and childish, but the show actually has an amazing plot line with the most capturing characters. My favorite character is a draconequus named Discord. The chaotic being always makes me laugh by his lack of making sense.

Sometimes I daydream about what it would be like if I live in Equestria; I'd be Discord's queen where we would rule the land though complete chaos. That's one reason why I loved to write, I can daydream about my personal fantasies then put it in text.

I was currently in one of the only classes I didn't fall asleep in; English. The other classes, besides art and English, had no use to me so I sit in the back of the classroom to write or daydream.

Mrs. Egan was lecturing about Shakespeare's life when I was poked by a classmate behind me. Turning around, I met the piercing green eyes of Courtney, the most popular girl in school. She smiled and presented me a folded up note.

I just stared at it, not wanting to take it. Courtney rolled her eyes and showed a playful, but obviously fake, smile. "Come on, Autumn, it won't bite." I showed a slight smile. 'Yeah but I know someone who might.' I thought to myself.

I reluctantly took the piece of paper and unfolded it. I almost dropped it because of what it said. In bold there was handwriting that read, 'Autumn Ruby should be in preschool because she watches baby shows.' It stun because it was true. But what made it worse was that their were more than thirty signatures below the bold.

Courtney has been bullying particularly me ever since she moved here from Manhattan three years ago. Courtney would backstab me when she tries do to a "nice" thing to me, and she would spread rumors about me like the witch she is. Courtney always has something negative to say about me, even when I did nothing wrong or nothing to her.

My face turned bright red in embarrassment. 'Has everyone seen this...' I made the mistake of looking around the classroom. Smirks were covered everyone's face added with a few snickers. This all happened without Mrs. Egan noticing, which wasn't a shocker because of how old she was and how bad her hearing is.

"Oh don't feel bad, honey. All you wanted was to be noticed by others, and well, now you have it." Courtney giggled to me. 'Why that dirty little-' My anger blew the roof, I was almost about to punch the day lights out of her when the bell rang. I growled while grabbing my bag and stormed into the hallway.

As soon as I walked out of the classroom, all heads turned towards me. I wouldn't have cared but they bursted into laugher, pointing at me.

"What a dork!"

"Baby!"

"Go where you belong!"

"Maybe kindergarten!"

Tears brimmed the corners of my eyes as I ran away towards the front courtyard. I sat in front of the big horse statue in front of the school and started to weep.

"I don't belong here." I mumbled to myself. "Why can't I be happy? I'll never be happy...not here."

'Here~' a voice cooed. My head shot up and looked around seeing no one in sight. Shrugging it off I went back to crying into my hands thinking about the horrible things everyone said about me.

Then the unknown voice called again. 'Here~' I frantically looked around again with no one there. I'm not hearing things, that definitely happened. "H-hello?" I said confused. "W-who's there?"

I gasped and widened my eyes as the statue began to glow a bright white. What was happening, I haven't got a damn clue!

The voice rang out again. 'Come, my dear~' I shook in fear and slowly stood up, walking towards the statue. Hesitantly, I placed my hand on the surface of it and immediately fell through.

I screamed and closed my eyes as I was being sucked into the portal. Is this the end? Will I ever see my family again? What is happening?

Suddenly I hit something hard with a grunt, unable to move. When I opened my eyes I saw a blur of colors and then darkness.
