Stiles Pov
"Stiles you are one lucky boy." Mellissa said to me.
"MOM! DONT SAY THAT!" Scott yelled embarassed.
"Honey. Look at derek. He radiates perfect. Stiles where can I get me one of those?"
"I dont know. I just stumbled into one." I blushed.
"Can we not talk about this?" Scott grumbled. Mellissa and i laughed quietly before Deaton walked in.
"Hello." He said evenly. We nodded at him. I was already healing so he wasnt really needed.
"I am better now. I am healed." I smiled at my new found strength.
"So he did bite you. I knew that this would happen evnetually. Mates tend to be in the same species. It just works better."
"Woa Woa Woa. Whats a mate?" I asked turning to Scott. He looked away. No one answered me. I felt my vision blur. They were hiding something. My hands began to feel hot. I looked down claws. I could feel my kanines grow in my mouth.
"Stiles calm down. " Scott stood before me already changed just in case i went nuts i guess. I took it as a challenge.
"Tell me. NOW." I growled. My vision went red.
"If you calm down I will tell you." Deaton stated unfazed by me turning. Mellissa was hiding behind him. I hated how calm this mere human was. Doesnt he know I could easily kill him? I fell to the ground befor I could make a move. It was almost as if a wave of electricity went through me. I look up to see Derek. We were both now in our human form.
"Derek. Whats a mate?" I ask quietly.
"I wanted to tell you later.... but.." He whispered.
"What is a mate Derek?" I asked again.
"Can you give me a moment with Stiles?" Derek looked to Scoot, Mellissa, and Deaton. They quietly walked out. He sat down next to me on the ground.
"A.. A mate is when two people, or were wolves and a human are.." He struggled for words. "Well it is when they are connected in a special way. They cant be apart or it pains them. They spend there lives together. Forever. There love will forever be there. We are mates Stiles." He looked up to judge my reaction. I smiled. Derek was mine. We would never break up. Thats alot to take in. I was over whelemed with happiness. I smiled at him.
"I love you so much!" I grabbed him into a hug.
"I love you too" He shined. "There are other things that come with mates. Some good some not so good. We will basically feel dead and depressed when we are away from eachother for more than a mile. And feel eachothers pain. But we also will feel always happy around eachother. We can send different emotions to eachother. Like a minute ago I made you feel regret to stop you from moving. Sorry about that, but we can also do ones like calm, sadness, or happiness and such."
"What about school? The house is a long ways away from the school." I asked still glowing.
"I think that I can handle that." He smiled.
"How?" I asked utterly confused.
"I do have a teaching degree." He smiled.
"In what?" I asked. He could potentially fill in for the teachers that went missing. Such as Ms.Blake or Mr. Harris.
"English. I have already been hired." He smiled. "The office ladies said something about being perfect.. and handsome." He winked at me. I tensed. He should know I am the jealous type. I might have to remind him that he is too once we get to school on monday.
