"Sorry!" I shout as the man I bumped into fell backwards. He curses as he hits the pavement, but I'm already moving on. "Excuse me!" I shout as I dodge a lady on her phone. I dart through the streets, jumping over speed bumps and taking short cuts through alley ways. "Ack!" A girl shouts as I run head first into her. I fall down backwards. "Sorry!" I apologize. I inwardly cringe as I see the black glasses and realize I just ran into (literally) a blind women. And not to mention the neon blue hair contrasting with her pale skin is blinding. "Watch where you're going hotshot!" She says as she reaches for her cane. "Here, let me help you." I offer as I reach for her cane. Instead she grabs it and stands up. "No thanks." She replies. "I got it." She walks of, leaving me confused and annoyed. I shrug it off, remembering my goal. I continue running.

"The super spy is present!" I announce as I burst through the door. Dan snorts. "About time. We've been waiting for you." I notice a girl sitting at the table across from Dan. "Is this the girl you told me about?" Dan nods. I scan her. Being a spy for a while, I've picked up some people reading skills. She obviously is a rebel. She wears a ripped black leather jacket over a red shirt. Her bright red hair has a pink streak, reinforcing her rebel stature, and bright red eyes, like fire. "I didn't know red was the daily color. I would've brought in my lucky hat." The girl rolls her eyes. "Mat, this is Phoenix. She has a theory to support the theory about the government that we've had a long time." "But it's just a theory." Phoenix interjects. "A conspiracy theory." "Yeah, and I'm Matpat from Game Theory."
"Anyways, we've been theorizing that the government has a part in the... 'incidents' that have been taking place in the last couple of months." Dan says. "Incidents?" Phoenix says incredulously, raising an eyebrow. "Is that what we're calling countless organized murders?" Dan shrugs. "Better than calling it as it is." I take a seat and begin my theories. "Let's call it is. The murders are too organized, not at all spontaneous and random. The victims are troublemakers, supporters of the Uprising. The government wants them down, but doesn't want it to lead back to them. So what do they do?" Phoenix nods. "Stage the murder." Dan walks over to the file drawer. He unlocks the bottom drawer and pulls out a file.
"This is a record of all prison breakouts in the last year. Look." He traces the line. "It's too... Organized. The policy for breakouts is that of three take place every month, security is reinforced. One breakout has occurred a month." Phoenix is skeptical. "But if the limit of three, why not stage two breakouts?" Dan leans back. "Too risky. If one happens that the government didn't stage, then the show is ever. Better safe then sorry."
I grab a file. "Every single prisoner who has escaped has a history of working for others." I point to a picture. "Jack L. Worked for a drug dealer. Wasn't afraid to get caught as long as his boss was safe. Cray D. Worked for Preston, that guy who got arrested for hiring people, like Cray. When Preston got arrested, Cray followed like a love sick puppy dog. With a knife. The only case otherwise was when they released Noah M. He was the third escapee." "Except," Dan breaks in, "He wasn't a follower. He tried to grey off from the government, commit his own crimes. No sooner than a day later, he was found dead. Poisoned. Since then the only breakouts have been for the guys who don't mind going to jail for their bosses." "Like Cray and Jack." Phoenix says. I nod. "And when things don't go their way..." Dan begins. "Then they do whatever they have to do to fix it." A voice from the doorway finishes.
