Nathaniel's pov/
Oh God I'm so excited. I can't believe she said yes. I walk towards the bakery nervous. I hope her parents like me. The black rings as I walk in.
" Oh hello." Marinette's mom smiles at me. " I'm guessing you're here for Marienette."
I nod " Yes ma'am." I hold the flowers behind my back. " Is she here?"
She nods " Marinette!" she yells through the door " The nice boy from yesterday is here for you." she smiles one more time at me and goes to attend a customer.
I wait for Marienette and look around her home. It's warm and comfy. I smile to myself. I do t notice Marinette standing next to me until she clears her throat.
" Hey Nathaniel." she smiles at me.
My heart flutters at the smallest gesture. " H-hey. Ma-Marienette."
Marienette's pov/
I feel awkward. After I cleared my throat he greeted me but then stayed like that, staring at me. It made me self conscious. He shook his head and started over.
" Sorry." he muttered. " Um...shall we?" he asks.
" We shall."
