chapter 21- kindness helps

MANNY POV

We have found out Elsa is with my brother. He now calls himself Darknight but to me he will always be my twin brother, Sunlight. We are planning on going there tonight.

"Manny, we are ready." says North.

"let's go save my daughter." I say. We get in the sleigh and fly to where my brother is.

1 hour later
ELSA POV

Uncle was brushing my hair again when we heard banging and shouting outside of our room.

"what's going on?" I ask.

"I'm not sure little one. But don't worry I will protect you." Uncle answers. He pulls me close to him as the shouts come closer until they stop outside.

"is it here sir?" Asks a voice.

"yes." says another. The door bursts open to reveal my family and the guardians. I stay with Uncle. They all gasp when they see me and him. He's still brushing my hair. He finishes the french braid and sighs.

"hello everyone." he greets.

"hello brother." says Father. I look at them both in confusion.

"Elsa!" shouts Anna. I look at her in pity. They should of stayed away.

"Anna please be quiet." says Father. She looks at him and frowns but doesn't say anything. I look at him and frown.

"Starlight calm down she just is happy to see her sister." says Uncle.

"well Sunlight you should know that you are dangerous and I need to concentrate but I can't with people shouting." says Father.

"my name is Darknight not Sunlight brother." Says Uncle. I wriggle in him arms as he gets angry.

"please don't get angry." I plead quietly.

"ok my dear. I will calm down for you." says Uncle. I look at him and smile.

"brother, let my daughter go." says Father.

"let me see, Elsa do you want to go?" Asks Uncle. I shrink down in fear. I try to hide from all of their eyes that were staring at me.

"I..I....I...ummm....I don't know?" I stutter. I can't chose. Uncle treats me so kindly but if I'm with father I will be with Anna and Jack.

"She doesn't know yet so there. She is staying for now." says Uncle. I cuddle into him a bit more. My eyes start to close as I realise I haven't had any sleep for a month. Everything slowly goes black.

DARKNIGHT POV

Elsa fell asleep in my arms right after she cuddled up to me. Everyone looked at us in shock. I knew I had to take her somewhere else so I teleported to my secret base. I appear outside of the base. I walk inside and shout,

"I'm back!" then my servants all come running.

"hello sir!" everyone greets happily. This is my home, my real home. The servants see Elsa and gasp.

"this is my niece Elsa. Please can you make her room in the room attached to mine." I ask and they all nod and run to sort out our rooms. Elsa starts to squirm in my arms. She's starting to sweat a lot. I think she's having a nightmare. I put her down on the sofa and kneel down next to her. I shake her softly.

"Elsa. Elsa, wake up." I whisper whole shaking her. She opens her eyes and looks around confused.

"I had a nightmare and where are we?" She says.

"we are in my real home. What was the nightmare about?" I say.

"it was about my father and the guardians taking me away from here. I want to stay with you. You take care of me much better than them." Elsa says.

"don't worry. I will take care of you for as long as you want." I say to her.

"what should I call you?" Asks Elsa.

"just call me Uncle." I say. She feels her neck and gasps.

"where's the collar?" she asks.

"I left it at the old place." I say. I took it off her while brushing her hair. She isn't a dog she behaves for me so I don't need to worry about her running away. She wants to stay. I hug her again. Then a maid comes in.

"your rooms are ready sir." She says. I carry Elsa up to her room and puts her into bed.

"you should get some sleep. You will need it. We are going out tomorrow but we will be in disguises." I say and she nods her head and lies down.

"what if I have that nightmare again?" She whispers with a bit of fear in her voice.

"It won't because I have dream sand for you." I say and sprinkle the sand on her. She falls asleep and I walk into my room that's linked to her room. I lie down on my bed and go to sleep.
