*Elliot's POV*
My first instinct was to run. Why was she kissing him, of all people why him?! I thought maybe-- oh I don't know what I thought!
That she liked me...
My vision was blurred and I didn't care where I was going. I just needed to get out of this damn hospital.
Tears threatened to spill from my eyes. Man up Elliot! This is pathetic. She's your friend, get over it!
It just hurt that's all. Hurriedly I rush down the hallway needing to get out and breathe again. Suddenly what felt like a boulder stopped me in my tracks. And by a boulder I mean a male nurse.
He was holding bundles of papers, which now slowly fluttered to the ground like feathers in the wind.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry!" I blurted out, quickly bending down to help pick them up.
"No worries. It was partly my fault." He laughs.
His laugh was like a melody that I couldn't get out of my head. Simply poetic.
Once all the papers had been gathered and organised, we both stood up dusting off our hands on our pants.
"Once again I am so sorry." I say solemnly.
"No big deal. Most exciting thing that's happened to me all day haha" He laughs.
That sweet laughter again.
I take a moment to look at him, properly look at him.
He is in his uniform, which clings perfectly to all of his hidden muscles. His face is a shade of golden brown and his hair is messy but still professional. He was undeniably handsome.
Wait am I checking him out? I don't like males. I can acknowledge their attractiveness but I don't like them like that! Do I?
"I think I know of a way you can make things better" He grins, gaining back my attention from admiring his attire.
"Go for it" I smile back.
"Let's go out after my shift. We can go eat or get some drinks I don't mind"
"Umm okay?" I couldn't just say no after what I did.
"Here's my number" He says handing me his card that all employees must have.
His name read Myles.
"Okay sure. See you soon Myles"
"It's a date umm?" He said questioning for me to fill in my name.
"Elliot"
"It's a date Elliot" He smirks before leaving our position, continuing his work.
I have a date? With a boy? This can't be good.
