*Eva's pov*

The sun beamed in my window and was shining into my eyes as I they slowly flickered open.

"Callen?" I ask.

Maybe he's cooking breakfast.

I groaned as I hopped out of bed and made my way into my batroom.

I washed my face with cold water and then put my hair up in a bub out of my face.

"Callen?" I ask walking down the stairs towards the kitchen.

Walking past the lounge room, I notice the blanket that we used last night was folded at placed at the end of the couch.

The first thing that caught my eye in the kitchen was the piece of paper on the bench.

Getting closer to the paper I could read what it said.

Eva,

Thanks so much for letting me stay here last night. I shouldn't have put that pressure on you though. Don't worry it won't happen again. Have a good day! :)

Love Callen.

I grabbed the piece of paper scrunched it up and threw it into the bin angrily. Yes I'm angry!

Why you ask?

I let him in when he was drunk, took care of him let him stay the night. And what does he do? Leave me a note saying thanks and just leaves.

Don't they all just leave...

Walking like a slug into the loungeroom I plonked down myself on the couch and turned on the tv. A rerun on dance moms was on and I was more than happy to watch that.

After watching the episode of dance moms, I made and finished my breakfast and went upstairs and picked my outfit for today.

I picked out an Arctic Monkeys t-shift and some red demon jeans, pairing them with some black converse.

Grabbing the keys from the bowl and my wallet, I locked the door and hopped in my car.

The radio was playing the top 40 countdown which was perfect for my trip to the shops. By the time I got there, I had sung to a dozen or so songs.

I grabbed my purse from the car and made my way into the supermarket.

I had a sudden moment of nostalgia when I grabbed the trolley and I remembered how I used to stand on the end of the trolley and my mum used to push me around the store.

Fun times.

Putting my purse in the trolley I make my way down the aisles. My phone buzzed in my pocket, with the caller ID Callen. Once I ended the call I put it back in my pocket.

"You like Arctic Monkeys?" A random voice spoke.

I turned around and looked who the voice was. It was a boy about my age or so. He was very attractive if I do say so. He was wearing a light wash pair of jeans matching I laughed to my myself, and a plain white t-shirt to match. I was too busy eyeing him I forget what he originally asked.

"Sorry what?" I ask back confused.

"I said you like Arctic Monkeys haha. Your shirt" he said pointing to the shirt I was wearing.

"Oh yeah sorry I do" I reply smiling.

"Mines name Elliot" he smiles.

"Eva" I smile back.

"Can I shop with you? Oh my god that sounded so stupid! Okay I'm going now" he rambled out and went to turn away.

"Elliot!" I stopped him. "It didn't sound stupid promise. You can shop with me if you want haha, it might bore you though" I laughed.

"I'd like that" he said laughing too.

"So where abouts do you go to school? I have seen you around before" I said pushing my trolley down the aisle putting things in as I went along as did Elliot.

"Oh I went to Hiltern, a few towns over, but I transferred over to Arrendale High and I start after the holidays finish"

"No way that's where I go!" I said excitedly.

"Are you serious!? That's great now I know someone there haha" he smiles.

"You definitely do now!" I smile back.

I push my trolley to the icecream section and Elliot follows closely behind.

"Icecream!" I yell.

"Hmm tough decision. Which flavour do I want? I'm gonna have to go with my favourite one" I say grabbing a tub of cookies and cream icecream and putting it softly in my trolley.

"That's my favourite flavour too! Can we share?" He says pouting.

"Definitely! Do you wanna come back to mine? I'm pretty much done now, I've got what I needed" I asked.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna be a bother" he said worriedly.

"It's no bother at all. Grab another tub of icecream, this one I'm saving. We'll share that one"

He leans back and grabs another tub and puts it in his trolley.

"Put it in mine, I'll pay for it" I say to him smiling.

"I've got it Eva Beaver" he smiles the biggest grin I've ever seen.

"That was truly the worst nickname please don't say that ever again!" I say laughing.

"Whatever you say Eva Beaver" he laughs back heading for the checkout.

"Don't you think it's a little weird that I only just met you today and I'm already over your house?" He asks and I can tell he's worried.

"Elliot, your the nicest guy I've met in ages. I feel like I've secretly known you for ages and we've been best friends."

"Strange as that is, I feel the same" he smiles down at me.

"Hunny I'm home" Mum says opening the door. "Oh I see you have company" She says her eyes trailing to Elliot who I'm laying against on the couch.

Shit I mumble.

Before I can think twice Elliot has left me on the couch and has gone to my mother.

"I'm sorry to intrude on your lovely house, my name is Elliot Foster" he smiles.

"Wow, what lovely manners you have" mum says back. "It's no intrusion at all, go back and sit down I'll get you guys something to eat"

Okay that's weird. Mum never let's me have guys over. I'm serious never!

I look back at her in the kitchen and she spots me and puts her thumbs up, as if she's approving him.

Oh my god!

"Oh my god what?" Elliot asks sitting back next to me.

Dang it! I said it out loud.

"My mums already in love with you" I said putting my head in my arms.

"I do like older women" he whispers so she can't hear.

"Oh my god that's disgusting Eli!" I say hitting him. "Oh the images!" I scream in horror.

"Hunny stop screaming in front of your guests!" Mum says from the kitchen.

"Yes mother dearest" I laugh back.

"Oh and don't forget you have dance practice tonight"

Dang forgot that too.

"You dance?" Elliot asks.

"Yeah I do, ballet mostly but others too"

"That's amazing, I'd love to watch you one day"

I hide my blush, my cheeks heating up rapidly.

"I'd like that" I said copying what he said earlier today.

"Eva why is there two empty tubs of icecream in the bin. How much did you eat!" Mum says with a shocked expression.

"Oops" I say looking at Elliot and we both burst out laughing.
