Chapter 4

*Callens pov*

"Wait now I have to do an ara what?" I said shaking my head in confusion.

"An arabesque it's not that hard!" She said demonstrating the move to perfection.

"Give me a break I'm trying to learn this in one day" I said trying again.

"Hey there you go! Your getting better kinda"

"Thanks for the reassurance Eva"

She turned away and practiced her pirouettes. Turning and turning.

"Woah" she says as she twirls out of control.

She falls towards me and pushes me to the ground. I lay below her shocked.

"I'm so sorry!" She says.

I can't help but get trapped in her ocean blue eyes.

"It's okay, you feel good on top" I smirked.

Her cheeks flush a shade of pink.

Perfection...

"Your such a jerk" she said hitting me on the chest.

She giggles to herself and gets up off me.

She starts to pirouette again, landing each one perfectly.

"Why can't you do that under pressure?" I ask looking up at her.

She tucks a lose strand of hair behind her ear.

"I'm not quite sure, I guess the pressure gets to me"

"But you do it perfectly"

"Well that's not what Alexandra Litinski thinks"

"Who cares what stupid Alexandra Litinski thinks?" I said propping myself up on my shoulder and looking up at her.

"I do okay!" She snaps. "I do..." Her voice softens.

"Sorry I shouldn't have-"

"No it's okay I shouldn't have snapped you were just trying to make me feel better. Thankyou" she smiles.

I smile back.

"So are you ready for your audition tomorrow?" I ask.

"With you there, I'm sure Alexandra will like it much better"

"She is stupid for not liking you in the first place"

"How can you be so nice to me? You don't even know me"

I stand up and walk towards her. My hand intertwines with her. She flinches, taken back by the sudden movement. But she doesn't move her hand out of mine.

"Because we are partners that's why" I smile at her. "Now come on let's go through the routine a billion more times. This has to be perfect"

"Okay let's go" She says moving to our starting position.

I count the steps in my head following her moves. Lifting her when she needs to be lifted, turning her when she needs to be turned.
