*Callen's POV*

Today is the day of the competition. If we win this we are one step closer to getting the title and the prize money. And one step closer to my mum getting better.

I accidentally slept in today, I realise as I see the time is noon already. Walking out of my bedroom I notice the house is empty.

"Mum?" I call into her room. Empty.

"Pia?" I call starting to get worried. No reply.

Suddenly my phone went off. Running to grab it, I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Heey Callen" a soft voice echoes into the phone.

"Oh my god Pia! Where are you? Are you okay? You nearly gave me a heart attack! Where's mum? Is she okay?" I yell into the phone.

"Ouch my eardrum. Naughty Callen! We are both okay, we are at the hospital"

"Why are you at the hospital!! Is mum okay!?"

"I have to go the nice man says I should go now"

"The nice man?! Pia what the hell! Oh my god!"

"Bye cal! See you soon! Love you!"

The line goes dead. I pick up my shoes put them on, grab the keys and I am out of the house.

"Have you seen a little girl? About yay high?" I said putting my hand to my waist.

The lady points down the hall.

"Thankyou" I say running down the hall.

"Oh hi Callen. Why are you running like a lunatic?" Pia laughs.

"Oh my god are you okay? Where's mum?" I say pulling her into my chest.

"Oh my god yourself I'm fine. You treat me like I'm 6!"

"That's cause you are 6 you idiot"

"Oh yeah haha" she giggles.

"Where's my mum?" I ask a doctor walking out of the door we are sitting near.

"She's in surgery, I could have told you that" Pia cuts in.

"Is she okay? Please tell me she's okay!"

"She's fine sir, calm down. A donor has just donated her kidney to your mum, she is just having the procedure now" The doctor reassures.

"Wait what? Who?" I ask shocked.

"Miss Fisher, I'm sure her name was. Lovely young lady she is. She's in 305 if you want to say thankyou or anything like that"

"Okay thankyou doctor"

Fisher, Fisher, Eva, Eva Fisher!!

No no no! She can't have!

"This must be a mistake" I say to myself as I'm running up to her floor and room.

Sure enough I'm proven wrong when I reach her room and she's laying there in the hospital bed.

"Oh Eva" I cry as I sit next to her bed.

"Callen?" Her eyes flutter open.

"It's me sweetie" I say grabbing her hand and holding it in mine.

"What are you doing here?" She asks.

"I could ask you the same thing! Are you stupid? Why the heck did you give your kidney to my mum? Your crazy Eva, crazy!"

"That's what Elliot said" she laughs.

Ouch, that stung.

"Eva"

"Callen"

"Your crazy you know that"

"I know. Your mums bills are paid for. Any that she's needs paying for in the future let me know okay?"

That's all it takes for me to burst out crying.

"Why?" I mutter between sobs.

"She deserves to live, she can't just leave her children. Especially when I can help her."

"Your an angel Eva. You really are" I cry.

"She is. You should have seen her face when I told her. She was glowing" she smiles.

"Eva, I will be forever in debt to you" I say hugging her.

"Ow."

"Oops sorry" I say moving off her.

"Don't be silly Callen you don't owe me anything!"

"I owe you my life. Eva I can't thank you enough. Thankyou thankyou thankyou!" I say wiping away my tears.

"Your welcome Callen. Ow I'm sore. I don't think I'm able to compete today though. I'm so sorry Callen"

"Oh... Don't be sorry! Honestly forget about it. Just get better soon okay! Oh Eva. I can't believe you did this for us. You don't know how thankful I am"

"Your welcome Cal"

I moved towards her to give her a big hug, but being careful not to hurt her.

As we broke the embrace I lent in a kissed her.

"Oh Eva I didn't mean to I'm sorry-" I was cut off by her lips on mine.

Our lips moved together in perfect sync, just like our dancing I thought. The kiss was full of passion, and lust. She was dominating the kiss so matched her pace.

Sparks soared around my body, and hear radiated in and throughout.

"Eva?" A voice calls from the door.

Eva pulls back quickly and her face turns to utter shock and regret.

"Oh El" she says her voice saddens.

I look between him and her, and a pang of jealousy hits my chest.

He runs out of the room, looking horrible.

"Why'd I have to do that?! Stupid" she said hitting herself in the head.
