wondering what was happening on the outside.

It's been three weeks with out the comfort of his family especially his wife.

"Lopez you got a visitor." The guard let Dustin out of the cell, making his way his chair and sat down waiting for whoever it was.

"Dustin my poor baby." It was the one and only, Sofia. Dustin's mother.

"Hi ma, sit down."

Sofia took a napkin out of her purse wiping the hard plastic chair infront of her causing Dustin to roll his eye's then she sat down. She was so dramatic sometimes.

"I have to tell you something." Sofia whispered, but Dustin couldn't understand anything she said.

"What did you say ma?"

"Ugh." She rolled her eyes moving closer. " I spoke to Margarita. Can chu hear me now Dustin, I have news for chu. She told me all about the baby, and said its yours." Sofia spoke fast constantly rolling her R's, and her English wasn't so clear but good enough.

"Richie?" Dustin questioned, leaning towards her as he was sitting in his seat, suprised his mother would say that.

"Yes."

"That's not my kid ma." She moved her hand to his cheek, softly pinching it. " Sweetie it's okay I don't blame you."

"I also talked to Mr. Sotto, he said if you give the baby your last name. He will bail you out today." Dustin's mouth was slightly open as his mother was explaning this.

"If I give that baby my name Lisette will leave me." He said sternly.

"The one son God left me," she looked up at the ceiling flipping her straight brown hair, pretending to cry. "I have to see him in jail."

"Ma, what are you taking about you have three other sons that live in the same house as you. Patrick, Carnell and Bryan." Dustin chuckled. Sofia rolled her eyes and smaked Dustin in the back of the head.

"Chu know what, I wish I would have died when Kelly was murdered because I had something to be proud of." She took the necklace on her neck and kissed the picture of Kelly dressed in his police uniform. "Your brothers are turning out to be just like, chu. Only Bryan is trying to leave this place by getting accepted to college."

"What you want me to say ma? That I ruined my like when I was 17 when I got Lisette pregnant, well I can't do SHIT about it!" He raised his voice, slightly causing one of the guards to look at him.

"Okay listen," she dried her fake tears, clearing her throat. "Chu got two family's." She held up two fingers as she spoke. "One will take from chu for the rest of your life, giving chu nothing."

She was now smiling as she now spoke of Margarita. "In this new family Dustin, you got a cute baby boy, and Margarita." She stated fliping her hair once again, "She's beautiful and her father's opening a new store and you can run it."

Dustin stared at the crazy woman known as his mother. He leaned back in his chair.

"I'm married to my Gorgeous Lisette." He folded his arms, "I love Lisette."

Lisette didn't think it was possible but she was happy as can be. She walked into the pawn shop with fifty dollars cash in her hand getting her ring back. She held out her hand waiting for the pawn dealer. Once she felt the cold diamond in her hand she ripped the orange sticker off it, placing it on her index finger.

"Take it easy." She said smiling widely exiting the store.

She thought she was happy now, but that could end sooner then she thinks...
