Jaime scowled as he watched as Bart's friend slid an arm around an oblivious Bart.
Jaime crushed the cone in his hand, letting the ice cream run down his hand and drip to the floor as he watched this boy flirt with his Bart.
Take him out!
Its Bart's friend, I cannot.
Then let me be in control of the armour, Jaime Reyes.
Khaji Da, no.
I advise you aim for the head.
No.
Then the chest.
nO!
I'd then suggest you-
You can cállate.
Jaime blamed his sister for the predicament he was in. Milagro had demanded to be taken to the ice cream shop down the block, so Jaime's mom took them all out. While out at said shop, they had run into Todd, someone from Bart's school, and Jaime had instantly not taken a liking to him. The way he looked at Bart, or the way he would try to hold his hand.
Jaime would always shrug it off or play it crash, not wanting Bart to think he was overprotective.
But when he saw that Bart wasn't paying attention, fiddling with a straw in his hand, and that Todd was about to kiss him, it was the last straw for Jaime.
He quickly wiped his hands of the crushed remains of the ice cream and walked over to the two boys, yanking Bart up and sending Todd face-planting into the seat.
"Jaime?" Bart blinked, confused.
"My mom said we have to go now, ese." Jaime says.
"But we just-" Bart began but Jaime cut him off and told him Milagro wanted him. Once Bart was out of ear-shot, Jaime turned to Todd with a death glare. And if looks could kill, Todd would be very dead.
"What was that about?" Todd asked, slightly scared.
"I don't appreciate the way you were hitting on my boyfriend." Jaime snarled.
"Boyfriend?" Todd looked shocked. "Look, man, I didn't know." Todd raised his hands in defense.
"Well you know now." Jaime grabbed Todd's shirt and pulled him close. "But if I ever catch you doing it again..." Jaime released Todd and let the threat linger.
"I-I won't!"
"Good."
Jaime smiled, turned on his heels and made his way over to his mom, sister and Bart.
"What was that about?" Bart asked as he ate an ice cream.
"Nothing." Jaime smirked as they left the shop, glad that Bart payed no attention whatso ever.
