The police officer was showing the man to the cell of the prospective prisoner. He had no idea why the man had gotten interested in this prisoner specifically, but he was in no position to ask questions. Convict #4032 was quite a piece of work, and Officer Jace was going to sleep a lot better knowing his workplace was a little less... prone to spontaneously combust.

The man's cane clicked quietly against the floor after each step. Jace had never actually seen the man in person until today, and he thought it was quite the honor. He was widely regarded as not only one of the wealthiest, but also the strongest person in Vale.

"Here we are..." Jace said, flipping through his chain of keys, looking for the one to open the several locks that held the door in place. "Security's been tripled ever since we caught him. But I still have the itching feeling that he could break out of here without lifting a finger."

The man stayed quiet. 'Big talker. Great.' Jace sighed. Getting the solitary confinement door open was a huge pain in the ass. They hardly ever had to do it since the cell hadn't been used in a long time, and there was a small flap to open at the bottom of the door to slide food into the room. 'I mean, we're not savages. Sure they're bad people, but we can't let them starve. We'd be cleaning out more dead and mutilated bodies than clean trays.' The officer thought.

He unlocked the last door and gestured for the man to enter. At the back of the room sat a tall, wiry kid, around eighteen years old. He looked slightly disheveled, and the one visible eye was surrounded by black, bruised skin. His hair, white on one half, which was swept over his left eye, and black on the other, was sticking out in all directions. He was tapping one of his fingers on the table in boredom. When the two men entered the room, he looked up and smiled at them.

"I was wondering when someone'd show up. Gettin' bored outta my fuckin' mind, I am."

Jace sighed. Ever since Convict #4032, a.k.a. Firestarter, a.k.a. Wraith Vivarian had been apprehended, he just sat there with that goofy grin of his. Serial arsonist and hitman for hire was on his resume. Over a hundred kills and buildings razed to the ground under his name. He was deemed Public Enemy Number One in Mistral, and then he had moved to Vale as a new locale.

And Jace was in charge of his case. And arrest. If he had a new victim anytime soon, Jace had no doubt he'd be at the top of the list.

The man took a seat across the table from Wraith.

"Hello, Wraith. Do you know who I am?" He asked.

Wraith laughed heartily. "Anyone with a brain the size of a peanut knows who you are. Question is, why the hell're you here talkin' to me, when you can be out there awaiting my execution like everyone else."

The man smiled. "Because I have an offer to propose..."
