The rest of the day passed by in more of a blur for Weiss. She still wasn't quite sure what had transpired, but she understood the gist of it.
She had involuntarily agreed to go to the dance with Wraith.
Whenever she thought about the whole conundrum her heart seemed to skip a beat. That fact still confused her to no end.
She found herself wandering the halls aimlessly, merely thinking after all of her classes for the next day had ended.
Aimlessly, that is, until she realized that she had unconsciously troden up to Team WRPP's dormroom, the door slightly ajar. She peered inside to see the room entirely empty and quiet, save for the soft, bubbling sound of the small pool that served as Ravager's bed.
Weiss pushed open the door, ignoring once again her mind's protests, mentally slapping her for entering the boys' room uninvited.
She looked around, taking in the stark differences between the layouts of the separate areas, the pool once again, then the more lavish, carpeted area that belonged to both Primal and Paladin, then finally, the metallic, drab, grey area that belonged to Wraith, the cot fastened to the wall by two chain links connected to the end of each side of the bed.
She walked up to the bed to better survey the area when she noticed a small, neatly folded slip of paper on the bed, lying there as if waiting for her to pick it up.
She carefully lifted the paper off the bed and unfolded it, reading the short message that had clearly been left for her specifically.
'Hey Snowflake,
On the roof if you're lookin' for me.
Wraith'
The message was accentuated with Wraith's trademark goofiness, a small smiley face drawn (albeit poorly) at the bottom of the note. A small smile crept onto Weiss' face. She replaced the note on the bed and exitted the room, prepared to head straight for the roof.
As she made her way there, she encountered Primal and Ruby, who were, just like her, wandering the halls in their spare time, Primal mainly listening while Ruby talked nonstop, which didn't surprise Weiss in the least.
"I know that Primal has nothing to study, but don't you have a test in Oobleck's class that you needed some help with Ruby?" Weiss asked, slightly mocking.
Ruby immediately looked up and stopped mid-sentence, her mind clearly raking for any excuse she could muster on a moment's notice.
"Ummm, Zwei ate my book?" She said, more a question than an actual response.
Weiss sighed. "Why do I even bother sometimes." She shook her head as she walked past, continuing on to the cafeteria.
Primal watched her go, then turned to Ruby. "Shall I offer my assistance in studying?" He asked, looking down at the red-haired girl.
Ruby immediately blushed and looked a little flabbergasted. "No, I'm good!" She said quickly.
Primal tilted his head to the side, but opted to not push the subject.
They walked on ahead, pretending like the conversation had never happened.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Weiss sighed, gasping slightly for air as she reached the door out to the roof. Not that it took a lot of energy, but she found herself... eager, for lack of a better term. She slowly pushed open the door and stepped out, closing the door behind her.
