Monday morning: Carmela's POV
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Carmela! Wake up you're-"
I opened my door, revealing my dad with suitcases in his hands, with a floral shirt, and flip flops.
"1. I'm up, and 2. What in the world are you wearing?" I asked looking him up and down.
"You hatin on my Hawaii swag?" He asked with a confident smirk on his face.
I cringed at his comment.
"Dad please just leave already, you're going to give me a headache."
He laughed.
"Alright sweet pea, just make sure you get to school on time, if you need anything don't hesitate to call, and please behave for the babysitter"
"Don't be rude!" My mom called out from her room.
"Yes don't be rude" my dad agreed.
"Okay, okay. I'll behave, I'll call, yadda yadda yadda, now you two have a plane to catch!" I say pushing him towards the door.
"Yea, Melissa we're going to miss our flight if you don't hurry up!"
"Alright, alright. Do you have everything you need?" My mom asked as she made her way downstairs towards the door.
"Yes... Wait, yea"
"Okay, we're going to head out Carm!"
"Don't burn down the house! No parties! And no boys!" Dad called as he headed out the door.
"Yes and remember to behave!" Mom said as she closed the door.
I rolled my eyes at their lack of trust in me.
I began to head back to my room when I heard the door open again.
"Oh and we love you!!" They both said in unison. They closed the door, not even bothering to wait for my response and just like that, they were gone.
I sighed.
"Love you too"
I headed back upstairs to finish getting ready for school.-------------------------------------------------------
I walked over to my locker to get my books for first period. I rummaged through my messy locker and finally found was I was looking for.
I sighed and closed it, dreading going to first period.
I began to close my locker when I spotted someone at the corner of my eye. My blood began to boil and I almost lost it. The sight of him made me want to punch something, preferably his face.
Too blind by rage, I began stomping over towards Brock, until a thought flashed through my head."He's dangerous! You can't just go running around threatening to punch him or something!"
I stopped in my tracks. I realized had to think logically. In order to get back at him, I had to play dirty. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.
A smirk came across my face.
I fixed my hair a little, dusted off my clothes, and I strutted down the hallway past him. I made sure he caught my glance. And just like that, the plan was already in motion. He eyed me as I walked past him. I glanced back to find him biting his lip as I walked away.
I held in my anger because I knew it'd be worth it when i was done with him.
He deserves everything I'm going to do to him.
While thoughts of revenge spurred through my head, I made my way to Mr. Blake's class.
I arrived
I sat down in my seat. People started rolling into the classroom from the hallway as the bell rang, sending everyone scrambling to class.
As everyone settled into the classroom, Mr Blake started class.
"Good Morning everyone! I hope you're wide awake because this lesson is going to require your full attention. It can be difficult, but if you pay attention, there should be no problem."
He said as he eyed the classroom to see if anyone was falling asleep.
He continued to blabber about the lesson. I had a hard time paying attention. I had much more important things on my mind at the moment.
"And that brings us to Ms. Sanchez!"
Shit.
"What?" I asked, completely lost on what he was indicating.
"Your project, how's it going?"
Fuck I totally forgot about the project!
"Oh I-it's great.. Amazing actually" I lied.
He shook his head in disbelief.
"Maybe since you're not working hard on the project, you can work at being a better liar" he sighed.
A couple classmates began to snicker.
"Liar? That hits really deep Mr. Blake. Me and Aubrey happen to be working very hard on this project.. R-right Aubrey?" I say, gesturing for her help.
"U-ummm.."
I forgot Aubrey was horrible at lying.
"Yea we work h-hard" Aubrey stuttered.
Mr Blake sighed,
"Just make sure you get it done in time. And let this be a lesson for all of you. You never know when I'm going to check up on your progress."
He then continued with the lesson.
Wow, that was close.
I sighed and sat back in my chair.
-------------------------------------------------------I survived most of my classes and it was now time for lunch. I plopped down at our table next to Aubrey.
"Does anyone want to trade anything for my apple juice? ..... Going once..... Going twice... Going thrice.... Goin-"
"Just give it a rest Marianna. Nobody wants to trade with you!" Cecy yelled, obviously annoyed about something.
Marianna sank down in her seat and pouted her lip.
"Who peed in your cereal?" I asked stuffing a half of a sandwich into my mouth.
"Mr Harris. He gave me a freaking C+ on my term paper because it wasn't "spontaneous enough" like what the hell does that mean?" She grunted.
" Maybe it's that time of the month for him he HAS been acting kind of bitchy lately" Aubrey said nonchalantly.
We all eyed her and giggled at her comment.
"Alright that made me feel a teensy bit better" Cecy smiled.
"Yay!!" Marianna squealed, embracing Cecy in a hug.
Cecy smiled and rolled her eyes.
"Alright calm down, geez... Where are we going today by the way?" She said while scrolling through her phone.
"Starbucks!" Marianna exclaimed.
"No." We all said in unison.
"Why not!?"
"Because we already went there twice! And you're only using that place to be close with your little crush there" I said.
"But-"
"No." We all said shaking our heads.
Marianna pouted and continued to eat her food.
-------------------------------------------------------
We left Starbucks and I drove everyone home except Aubrey.
We were going to my house to work on the project for the first time.
"Do you want to stop at Target or something first?" I asked trying to avoid the boredom of doing the project.
"Nooo the sooner we work on it, the closer we'll be to finishing it and getting it over with for good. We can go to Target after we work on it."I sighed.
"I hate it when you're right."
She laughed.
