"No no no wait! Don't you think it should go here?"
"Nah I think it looks better here"
"Well it's not about appearance carm, it's about wether or not it's right"
I groaned in boredom. We've been working on this project for what seems like hours! I don't know how much more of this I can take.
"Can we at least take a break?"
"Not yet we've only been working for 5 minutes. C'mon at least try. Don't you want to get a good grade on this?" She said as she focused on the project. Don't get me wrong, I love Aubrey but right now I'm on the verge of hating her.
I sighed.
"Alright, can we at least start cleaning up a little bit? my babysitter is going to be here any minute" I said as I picked up pieces of paper from the floor from our project.
"Fine" she sighed. She stopped writing and set her pencil down on the table.

We began to clean up a little bit.

"I wonder if it's a hot babysitter" She blurted out.
"Excuse me?"
"Yanno, what if he was tall, muscular, and irresistible?" She asked biting her lip a little.
"Then I wouldn't  leave this house until my parents got home" I laughed.

What are the odds of me having a hot babysitter? My parents would never trust me to be in a house with a hot guy for two weeks. I don't blame them. I wouldn't trust myself either.

Ding dong!

The doorbell rang,  causing Aubrey to gasp and squeal in excitement.
"He's hereeee" she exclaimed.
I walked over to open the door, til suddenly I was shoved onto the floor by Aubrey.
"Aubrey!" I yelled.
She looked back at me with her eyebrows furrowed.
"What?"
I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes as I stood up. Someone's a little eager.

She opened the door with the biggest smile on her face. Her face was gleaming with excitement. She never got this excited about anything unless it was school.
Her smile slowly drooped down, showing that she was not intrigued by the guest.
"It's for you" she grunted as she stomped to the living room.
I shook my head at her childish behavior.
I walked over to the door to find....." Mrs. Hicks?"
Mrs Hicks is the grandmother of my ex, Brandon. When we were dating, his family and my family became close friends, which sucked for us. When we split, that didn't stop our families from being friends.
I wasn't too fond of his grandma. She's strict and acts like she still lives in the olden days.... Which is probably why my parents thought she was perfect for this job.
Ugh thanks mom and dad.
"Hello dear, if you don't mind, I'd like to rest my feet. It was a long walk to get here"
"You walked all the way here from your house?"
"No, I mean from the cab to your doorstep."
I chuckled a little, then moved out of her way so she could come in.
"Do you need any help?" I asked.
She was carrying two large suitcases and a purse. I didn't want her to break a hip or something. My parents might think I had part in her injury.

"No no, I'm a big girl, you just focus on getting that project done." She insisted.
What the hell? Is she some kind of psychic?
"Umm how did you know about the project?"
"You mean other than the young lady gluing pieces of paper on cardboard in your living room? It was a wild guess."
Aubrey heard her comment and responded with an awkward "hii"
This lady is good. A little too good. I'm not going to be able to get away with anything while she's here... But I sure as hell am gonna try.

                            ~Jaden's POV~
"No, why the hell would you put that there?"
"I-I thought that's where it's supposed to go."
"ugh no, it goes here" she said placing it in the correct spot.
"See?"
"Y-yeah"
She sighed.
"Alright let's just take a break"
Working with Sam was a complete nightmare.
She always has the need to be right, she's bossy, and a little scary. There's no use trying to compromise with her. It's best if I just agree with her so we can finish this project sooner, sending us our separate ways.
She stood up.
"Do you want anything to drink?"
"Y-yeah, could I get some water?"
she walked away without answering and headed to the kitchen.
We were home alone at her house. I had no idea where her parents were. Ever since we've been working together, she hasn't mentioned one word about her family. It's kind of weird.
I let out a sigh of relief. now that she was out of the room, I could relax a little. I got up from the couch and began looking at pictures and paintings around the room. I  came across a picture of her when she was a kid.
In the picture she was sat at a table drawing in a coloring book, with marker smudged all over her face. I chuckled a little.
She must have a nice side to her, or she used to. I kept looking around and came upon a picture of Sam and her parents. They looked really happy. And Sam was actually smiling. I didn't think I'd ever see the day.
"Ahem"
I turned around to find Sam staring at me with a stern look.
"Do you mind?"
"S-sorry, i was just looking"
She continued to give me an evil stare.
I took a huge gulp.
"You umm, look really happy with your family" I say trying to break the silence.
"Yea, I was.. Now let's get back to the project" she said with a little bit of a shaky voice.
She placed a cup with juice on the table.
She must've forgotten that I asked for water.
"U-um"
"What?" She groaned
"Nothing" It already seemed like she was annoyed, I didn't want to piss her off even more.
She rolled her eyes and continued working on the project. I sat back down on the couch and joined her.
Just put up with her a little longer..
This thought kept flashing in my head, i just have to stick it out, then we never have to speak to each other again... Ever.
