--Scotty's POV--
I made my way to the locker room with Easton. It was kind of hard since there were a lot of people waiting outside the dugout to get autographs from the players. I squeezed through the spaces, and showed my pass and then headed down to the locker room. Easton and I decided to wait outside the door, in case some of the girls weren't presentable. I pulled out my phone and began tweeting. Then I became curious. I searched Bailey's name and her account was the first to come up. I smiled and followed her, and then searched for Jess' account as well and did the same. Then I tweeted, "Great game tonight by the Akron Racers! Way to go @ARacerBailey and @ARacerJesslyn on winning the game for us!"
I put my phone away and Easton and I began talking about the game. A few of the girls walked out and waved, then walked out to the crowd to sign autographs. I waited a little bit longer and saw Jess walking out.
"Hey great job tonight!" Easton said giving Jess a hug. "Thanks! Bailey is the only one left if you want to go in there Scotty." Jess informed me and then headed off with Easton. I smiled as they walked out the door, and then headed into the locker room. When I opened the door I saw Bailey in the corner of the room at her locker trying to get everything situated. She heard the door creak and looked at me.
"Hey Scotty!" She said when she noticed me, "I'm just about done here." I walked over and took a seat on the bench beside her things she had laid out. "Take your time. I'm in no hurry." I said as I watched her organize her locker and decided what she needed to take home with her and what she needed to leave here. "Okay. I think that is everything." She said closing her locker and turning towards me. I looked beside me and saw that she had four bags full of things sitting on the bench. Typical female.
She began grabbing the bags and I stopped her. "Let me help you." I said grabbing two of the bags. "You don't have to.." She replied throwing her drawstring bag on her back. "I know, but I want to." I replied as I took one of the book bags full of stuff and threw it on my back, and then took one of her equipment bags. We headed out to the car, and were stopped by a bunch of people wanting autographs from Bailey. A few of the people noticed who I was and wanted autographs as well.
"Follow us to my... Oh crap." She said stopping and turning towards me. "What is it?" I asked confused. "I just remembered I gave Jess my keys to my car so she could take it." She explained. "Don't worry I got you covered." I replied smiling. "You sure you don't mind giving me a ride?" She asked as I started walking to my car. "Darling it would be my honor."
-- Bailey's POV--
Scotty led me to his car, and then helped me load up my things. The large group of people followed us, so I quickly signed autographs, and exchanged hugs with some people. Also, a lot of them knew who Scotty was, and wanted his autograph as well. About an hour later, we were down to the last two people. We exchanged hugs, and then signed their shirts, and then we climbed into Scotty car to leave.
"Sorry about that." I said as Scotty started up the car. "Don't be sorry. I'm used to it." He replied looking over at me and then smiling. I smiled back and rested my head back on the seat. "You tired?" He asked keeping his eyes on the road. "Yeah..." I replied yawning. "We can always eat back at your place if you want. Or we can reschedule to tomorrow." He suggested and I shook my head. "No. I am not backing out now." I responded sitting up and rubbing my eyes.
"Bailey, just because we reschedule doesn't mean you just backed out. I can tell you're tired.. You just played a heck of a game." He answered back as he placed his hand on my leg. I focused my eyes on where his hand was, and could feel the warmth of his touch which sent chills down my spine. "I-I don't want to reschedule... I'm starving." I replied barely getting it out as he moved his hand off my leg to turn the wheel. "Alrighty! What'll it be then?" He asked pulling over and turning towards me. "Let's go to my favorite place, Chipotle!" I replied as he smiled. "Alrighty! Let's go!" He said as I gave him directions and he took off down the road.
