Audri's POV

6:55 am

I opened my eyes and was overwhelmed with a feeling that I had been missing for a long time. Justin's arms were wrapped tightly around me, preventing any movement. I stayed on my side, deciding that I'd lay there until one of my boys woke up. Judging by the clock, it would probably be Levi. He woke up every morning at 7 on the dot in search of milk. It had been a hassle trying to incorporate any other kind of food into his diet.

I took in the warmth of Justin's bare chest against my back. I missed sharing the bed with him. When I finally got Levi to sleep in his crib, I was all alone in this huge room with nothing but my thoughts to keep me company.

Right on cue, I heard little sniffles and groans echo through the baby monitor. I peeked over to look at the screen of the monitor, seeing Levi standing up at the side of his crib waiting for me. My poor little sickling. I carefully pried Justin's hands away, doing my best not to wake him.

"Where are you going?" he croaked.

"Levi, he's hungry. Go back to sleep." Forgetting all about my own cold, I tiptoed down the hall to tend to my baby boy. As soon as I appeared in the doorway, his whining ceased. "I knew, all you wanted was mama." Levi stretched his arms out to me, melting my heart. I picked him up and held him against my chest like I used to when he was still tiny. "You're almost a big boy, you know that?" He giggled as I nuzzled my cheek against his. "You smell like a big boy too!" I gasped dramatically and that always got a giggle out of him.

After I changed Levi, I carefully walked down the stairs to the kitchen and popped an 8-ounce bottle of milk into the warmer. I sat him in his walker in the living room and turned it on his favorite channel while we waited. "Guess who's home?" I sat down next to him, stroking his hair out of his face. "Daddy is home. So, you need to be really nice to him. He's been working really hard to take care of you," I smiled.

Levi was fussy when it came to anybody other than me. I didn't want it to hurt Justin's feelings if Levi wasn't reaching for him right away.

When my baby finished chugging his bottle, we sat on the living room floor and played with every toy he owned. He would play with one and abandon it for another after the novelty wore off. It was cute seeing his little legs stumble around the crowded floor.

"I'm gonna have to teach both of you how to sleep in," Sierra growled as she slugged down the staircase.

"She's a hater, isn't she?" I tickled Levi's stomach causing him to giggle and Sierra to roll her eyes.

"Where's Justin?" she questioned with the raise of her left eyebrow. I did them a few days ago and I've got to say that they looked fleeky as hell.

I played with Levi's fingers, "Catching up on some sleep."

"'You seem so excited," she laughed.

"I am excited that he's finally back. I'm just not feeling too hot," I tucked my hair behind my ear. "This bug really doesn't want to go away."

"Steve's been working you too hard?" she winked at me.

"Shut up," I threw a pillow from the couch.

"What time are you going hiking today?" she questioned while catching the pillow and I had to think about it for a few seconds.

"I'm gonna wait for Justin to wake up. It's his first day home and I don't want to just disappear," I replied.

"Wait, he doesn't know about your super hot trainer?" she walked over to the couch and placed the pillow next to me, giving me wide eyes.

"No, there's nothing to know. I'm just working out," I pulled the tv remote out of Levi's mouth. He was always chewing on things that he shouldn't have been.
