Audris POV

The Next Day

You may not believe it but today has  been the most perfect day that I've had in a long time.

When Justin and I  woke up  around 7 in the morning, we heard talking downstairs so we assumed Auriella spent the night here. On our way downstairs we peeked into Levi's room because this is normally when he likes to wake up. He wasn't there so we headed downstairs, assuming he was with Auriella. We found her in the kitchen having breakfast with Levi who seemed to be especially chatty. The two sat at the table eating oatmeal as he talked to Thomas the train on the screen.

"Just like your daddy, talking to the tv," Auriella mocked, unaware of our presence.

"Talkin' shit, huh? Justin spoke up causing Auriella to jump.

"You two are a couple of creeps," she tore off a piece of her toast as chucked it at Justin. 

I followed Justin into the dining area of the kitchen and headed towards Levi's highchair where he continued to chat away.

"How is mommy's big boy this morning?" I brushed his curls back and planted a kiss on his forehead.

He straight up ignored me. Rude like his both of his aunts.

"Why is your aunt let you watch tv while you eat?" I asked not expecting a reply. I didn't really like for him to watch tv while he ate because he hardly ever touched more than a spoonful of whatever was in his little Thomas & Friends bowl.

 "You're just bitter because he's ignoring you. He clearly likes me better."

"Girl, bye. What are you doing here anyway?" I sat down at the table.

"Well, Ryan and I are hanging out today and I figured I'd bring Levi," she ruffled his hair causing him to look up at her and smile.

She gave me an 'I told you so' look causing me to roll my eyes.

I raised my brow in confusion, "So you want to take my baby with you..on a date?" 

"It's not a date," she defended earning a smirk from Justin.

He shuffled around the kitchen gathering ingredients to make us omelets.

"Fine. Where are you going?" I petitioned. 

"An aquarium."

"Aww that'll be cute. I guess if Justin doesn't have plans, we can spend some much needed alone time," I hinted.

"I'm all yours babe," he winked.

"Have fun, be appropriate, and most importantly bring my baby back like you found him" I warned.

"No, you two have fun and be appropriate," she shot back. 

"I'm a married woman, I can pop my-"

"Okay, that's enough for today," she picked up Levi from his highchair.

By the time Justin and I finished breakfast, my sister had gotten Levi ready and Ryan had whisked them away.

As soon as I heard the door close, I looked at Justin who was sitting to my right, "Free at last."

He gave me a look, "Yeah right, you're going to be crying about how much you miss Levi in a few seconds," he looked down at his imaginary watch.

"But he's my baby, of course I miss him," I stood to clear the table.

He pulled me down into his lap, "I love you."
