Chapter 3

"When do you think we'll be done with this place?" El whispered.

"Just hang in there. We just need our powers and maybe a few more things and we're outta here." I whisper back.

"I do hope so."

Finally, we got to the place where we were supposed to get our powers. And our natural ones. I really hope these experiments won't hurt like Gjerta had said. And she was right about that.

First, we received our chosen powers. By doing that, we had to give the bottles to Bjorn and let him do whatever witchcraft he was doing. Then he let us drink his 'mixtures', which actually tasted pretty good, and it tasted like skittles and whipped cream together. But that was ruined when he made us drink this potion named Core-X. I quote from Bjorn, 'Don't ask me why it's called that, just drink it.' The sweet rainbow taste was ruined by wet-socks-that-walked-through-mud-and-crap taste. It basically tasted like it smelled.

After that, we received our natural powers. It was pretty easy to do since we actually already did it. Remember that potion that tasted like wet socks in mud and crap? That was supposed to fuse out powers with our bodies and then figure out our natural power. We were supposed to wait for the potion to settle and then we would have to focus on finding that power and it'll appear. Apparently.

And it worked. I found my power was being a martial artist. Wasn't too shocking, but it works. El found his natural power was being able to morph, which was way cooler. The first thing he did was change into me, and then his favorite characters from his favorite animes. El can morph others as long as he's in a foot-long-radius with anyone, and within his will.

"Don't use your powers too much as if now. You're still new to it, so don't let it shake off." Bjorn said, still expressionless as ever.

"Anyways, now that you have you powers, you'll need to get your social statuses in check, and you're free to go." He said after cleaning up a few things.

"Alright, I'll explain how social statuses work here. First, we need all of the normal info, such as your name, birth date, nationality, etc. That info is what describes you, along with your powers. The next step to your social status is your zodiac. Your sign will determine what group you belong to. For example, if you're an Aries, you belong with the Atbrines, or Atbrinians. If you're a Taurus, you belong with the Boles, or Bolans. Aquarius with Corsair, or Corsairians. Cancer with Docor, or Docorans. Leo with Ebastana, or Ebastans. Virgo with Geomancers. Gemini with Jesters. Pisces with Suvania, or Suvanians. Capricorn with Ariaskens. Scorpio with Costans. Sagittarius with Exbreaus. And Libra with Uratia, or Uratians. But, if you so happen to have an Ophiuchus sign, you would be next in line to the royal throne. I'm sure it wouldn't apply to you guys. The only ones who were able to have the Ophiuchus signs is only the royal family.

"Anyways, I'll explain the highest to lowest class, determined by zodiacs. The highest zodiac, besides Ophiuchus, is Aquarius. This is because they are the least amount of people. Then the list goes on to Leo, Sagittarius, Aries, Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer, Libra, Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Scorpio. And the groups from highest to lowest is Corsair, Ebastana, Exbreaus, Atrbines, Ariaskens, Boles, Docor, Uratia, Suvania, Jester, Geomancer, and Costans.

"There are also a few groups in our world. Some are huge and some are just for certain people. The most popular are the groups named the Fallen Dragons who specialize in finding mythical creatures that exist on our planet, Mad Hatters who specialize with magic and strength, Humming Moguls who specialize in memories and dreams, Rogue Heroes specialize with the elements, and Nerd Nation specializes in.... well, nothing. They just do whatever. The biggest group out of these top five is the Mad Hatters and the smallest is Nerd Nation. Mad Hatters consist of at least 30% of Uranus' population. And Nerd Nation consists of only six members, which is surprising being one of the top five. But, you can choose other group of this world.
