"For damned sakes, put me down!" I yelled.
"Nope! I'm not putting you down." The random guy carrying me said.
"For the last time, I'm a tomboy! I have no damned interest in guys!"
"So you're into girls?" He bluntly asks.
"NO! Plus, that's a lesbian thing. There's a difference, you blunt bastard!"
"Okay, jeez! Just know you're a real cutie."
"For the last time, I know I'm fabulous, but you don't need to tell me like I'm a dog!"
Okay, you're probably thinking, what the hell is going on? Let me explain. The dude in that conversation is not Osric, just to clear that up. Here's what happened:
A girl opened the door when I knocked on the door. She looked at me and she seemed to figure I was new, but then she saw Osric.
"Osric? What are you doing here?" The girl asks.
"Hey, Emily! Let me introduce you to my friend here. This is Zanobia Marland. She's new to the planet." Osric introduces.
"Oh, I see. Hello, Zanobia! I'm Emily Rockwell, nice to meet you!" The girl says, stretching her hand to shake, which I take.
"Wait, Rockwell?" I ask.
"Uh, yes?"
"Um, do happen to know anyone, at all, named Elwood Rockwell?"
"Hmm..." She responds while tapping on her chin. "It sounds familiar, but I can't place my finger on it."
"Ah, I see." Strange. Emily looked like El in some ways, and even has the same surname. Yet, I knew that El only had a brother, not a sister.
"Anyways! As I've told you, Emily, Zan is new. She has told us that she is a Libran and I figured you would answer the door." Osric explains.
"Oh, okay! Well, come on, Zanobia! Let's introduce you to the rest of the house!" Emily says giddily.
"Alright. Hey, Osric? Are you sure El will be okay?" I ask.
"Don't worry. He'll be fine, Ivy will make sure he doesn't die in there, seeing how most of the people in the Aries House are guys."
"That's not very assuring, seeing as to how he reacted to you and Jack when we came by."
"I suppose you're right. Ivy knows a few people who can help out Elwood if that happens." Osric reassures. "Well, in you go! Don't worry. It's great in the Uratian house, you'll love it."
"Alright. Well, lead the way, Emily."
"Come on in!"
I walked in the house and I was stunned. It was beautiful. On my right, there were three staircases, which was the first thing Emily explained.
"First up, the staircase farthest to the left leads to the rooms. We'll go there when we finish up the tour. The middle staircase leads to the library, good place to go all out and bookworm. The staircase on the right leads to the talent room. Originally it was going to be just for music, but then the artist and dancer Librans started to pour in, so you can tell what happened."
Next place we came to was a huge room, filled with people who lived here, or at least I assumed they were Librans. Before I could take in the room, someone picked me up and put me on their shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Whoa, okay, what is going on?!" I say absolutely shocked.
"Jeez, Ryan, put her down. She's new and I need to show her around." Emily says with a sigh. "I'm sorry, Zanobia. I forgot that these Scorpios were here and they're suckers for cute girls such as yourself."
