....'s P.O.V
As I'm walking back to the Scorpio House, I sense someone's following me. Someone I was familiar with.
"Hey." I say, not turning around to face my follower.
"Hello. Fancy seeing you here." A familiar male voice said.
"What do you want now?"
"Just checking up on you, ya'know? See you saw someone off, eh?
"Don't involve her in this. She has nothing do to with what I'm doing for you." I say, clenching my fists.
"If you play your cards right, you don't have to worry about her getting invloved. That's a promise."
"Break that promise, and I'll be sure to kill you." I say turning around to meet a pair of golden eyes.
"Tisk, tisk. Don't forget who you are working for." The figure says, walking towards me. "Make sure Marland dies, or maybe you'd like to see your good friend suffer and wither away right before your eyes, yes?" He says, with venom dripping in his voice.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure it happens. Just give me time."
"Will do. See you around, Luke."
"Later."

Zanobia's P.O.V
I'm really tired. I've been training with Muse for the last hour. I would have thought I would've lasted longer, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
"Tired already, eh?" Muse teases.
"Shut up, dammit. How are you not tired?" I ask, exhausted.
"I don't use a lot of my segua when I fight normal fights."
"What the hell is segua?"
"It's the power generated by the drug in your blood that gives you the power to have special abilities. But once someone has used all of their segua completely, they'll die. It's best not to use so much of it, especially in an easy fight. So, don't push yourself too much and you won't die by your own hands."
"Okay, but can we take a break first? I need to catch my breath."
"Sure. I'll ask Finny if she can make us something. Although you're no match for me yet, you're doing pretty well for a beginner. Most beginners flunk out after only a few minutes."
"No match for you yet? What, are you like hundreds of years old with a ton of experience?" I say crossing my arms across my chest. He just let out a stifled laugh. I know that laugh, it's like he's... hiding something.
"You laugh as if you've got quite the history. You do, don't you?"
"Well, I guess I do." Muse says with a wink. "But that's for another time. Right now, you need to get back up and," Muse begins to say before bursting into song, "let's get down to business, to defeat... The assholes!"
I just burst out laughing, so much that I had to lay down to breathe. "Oh lord, as funny as that is, I'm really tired, Muse." I say standing up.
"Still need Finny? Alright, I'll ask her to make us something real quick." Muse says walking out the door.
As soon as Muse left, I flopped onto the bench. Well, as comfortable as you can get on a wooden bench with little cushion. I just stared into the white sky. Apparently the sky is white here, compared to Earth's blue sky.
On that thought of Earth, I wondered how Mom's holding up. How is she doing back there? Is she upset over my absence? Has she noticed it? Is Dad with her? Is Aunt with her? I could only wonder.
