I got hired at Pet Planet. You told me you could never work a normal job like that to pay rent. I asked you why. I was beginning to be brave in asking you questions.

you told me it just wasn't satisfying enough. You said, "It's because there's an empty mouth inside me that needs to be fed with more than what society has to offer."

I thought that was beautiful in the most saddening way ever.
