Hayes Pov

Ashley and Hayes have been in North Carolina, of course it's going to take like an entire week or so to get all the way to California. But I'm not the type to write like 8 chapters based on Ashley and Hayes getting to Los Angeles, okay? Okay. Anyways, enjoy loves 💗

I know where Dani lives so instead of calling him and telling him we're already in L.A., I figured hey why not surprise the mofo? We weren't exactly in L.A. More like a few minutes away. I woke up Ash since she fell asleep. "Baby, wake up, we're close." I smiled as her beautiful eyes had appeared and looked into mine. She smiled and sat up. I opened her window, knowing that she wanted to feel the warm breeze blow through her skin. She takes a deep breath as she closes her eye before exhaling.

Within 20 minutes, we were at Dani's. I parked the car in his empty driveway. Ash and I got out and walked over to the porch. There was a small plant inside a vase, so I picked it up and took the key that was taped to the bottom of it. As soon as the door was unlocked we quietly walked in and looked for Dani. We saw him in the living room watching tv, I looked at Ash as we both laughed. "One...two...three." I mouthed before we both yelled out, "Dani!" In unison. "Agh! Holy shit! Who are y-" he was quiet for a few seconds while Ash and I were dying of laughter before he realized what was happening. "You two are idiots." He laughed. We had a group hug before plopping into the couch. "Finally! I'm exhausted from driving bro." "Hey, I to-" Ash started. I knew exactly what she was going to say 🙄. "Told me that you could drive if I ever got tired and yadayadayada, yeah I know mom." I laugh as I roll my eyes. "Haha, so what have you guys been up to?" Dani threw us a bottle of soda. "Nothing really." "Well, Matt and the guys are coming in-" and just on que, that group of guys barged in through the door. "scratch that, they're coming now!" "Hayes and Ashley? What are you guys doing here? You guys here on vacation or something? Is Nash here? Haven't hit that dick up in a while. OO WHERES SKY?" Taylor yells. He's always loved Sky. Like, he loves her a lot to the point where he puts on a too too and unicorn headbands when they play horsies. "Actually, mom and Nash don't know we're here..." Ash says as if she's reading my mind. "Uhh, come again?" "We sorta...kinda?...ran away." "What the fuck? Why?" "You guys wouldn't understand." I answered. "Why would you guys runaway? Especially you Hayes, I thought you guys had everything going for yourselves. I mean, Ashley, you've got art on your hands which can lead up to great things! Hayes, you've got scholarships basically biting your ass from lacrosse and football. Wha-" "That's my fucking point! It's always sports and scholarships. It's always Hayes Grier having to live up to be just like Will and Nash because they're so "perfect". 'Hayes, you've got to focus on football, get some scholarships!' 'Don't do that, do lacrosse!' I'm fucking tired of having to live up to the perfect Will and Nash!" Ashley put her hand on my hands as they balled into fists. "Hey, let's not talk about this right now, he's been driving the whole way here nonstop, let's go have some fun and have fun in L.A.! Enough stress for one day, let's go eat or go shopping or something, yeah? Anyone down?" I smiled at her thankfully an kissed her cheek. Bunches of "yeahs" filled the air. "Wherever we're going, I'm not driving, hell no." I say as I get up with my hands in the air. "I'll drive!" Taylor yells. We all packed into his Range Rover and we were off to Hollywood.
