Ash

I looked out the window and took in all of my surroundings. The beautiful stores, the beach, the beautiful sunshine. All of it. It was all I could ever need. It was beautiful. "So, who wants to what?" Taylor asked. I wanted to be alone and walk around, honestly. "We could go walk around Hollywood?" The boys all 'yea' while I go along with it.

10 minutes later, we make it to Hollywood and find a parking spot. Hayes interlocked our fingers as we made our way down the streets of Hollywood. The palm trees and the 80 degrees. Not a cloud in the sky. It was perfect. "I'm gonna walk around by myself guys. I'll text you guys when I'm done." "You want me to come with you?" Hayes eyebrows furrowed together. "It's okay, I just want alone time. I'm fine, I promise." He kisses my head before I walk the other way. "Well text you where to meet up for dinner!" Tay yells. I laugh.

Hayes
Since Ash wanted to be alone for now, I took this as my advantage to buy her a promise ring. But I won't give it to her right away. Just, when I feel like it's time. I may not be asking her to marry me but still, giving her a promise ring? That's nerve racking. I mean, what if I say the wrong things? Or worse, she says no to it or something? I chose Dani and Matt to come with me so they could help. Since Matt was the oldest, he was the one who drove since I drove all the way here and Dani's too scared to get caught. We got into Taylor's Range Rover and we were off to Beverly Hills. We parked and got out to the jewelry shop. "Welcome boys, would you like any help today?" A man spoke. "Uhm, yes please." "Right this way." He lead us to the counter where a lady sat. "So what can we do for you boys?" "Actually it's just him." Dani spoke. "I'm looking for a promise ring for my girlfriend?" "Ah, yes, here we are." They all looked beautiful. Diamonds and everything. "We also do customizations. Any name in specific that you would like to put on your ring?" I thought for a moment. "Can I have an H on one ring and an A on the other please?" "Of course, just pick your rings." I picked two gold rings. One was a crown, and the other, a tiara. "I'd like these two please." I smile in excitement. "Good choice! Now, the approximate waiting time is about a good 30 minutes to an hour." We nod and take a seat. "We've got time." We laugh.

Within and 45 minutes, the man comes back out with my rings in a special bag. I paid and thanked him before we left. I was out the door before I ran back and gave the man a hundred dollar tip just because he was very kind and helpful. "Thank you so much man." I say. "Thank you, sir." He says surprised. We exchange smiles and I'm back out the door.

An hour later, we meet up with Ashley at the restaurant. We all ate and laugh and afterwards continued to walk around. I looked down at Ashley who seemed to be having a great time. She took a breath and closed her eyes. "You okay baby?" "Yeah, it's just that, well, I'm finally free." She smiles at the thought of finally being free from it all. "Finally free." I smile as my hand finds her's. Free. She's finally free. I'm finally free. We're finally free. I let out a breath.
