The lights were switching on and off frantically, I ran through the base for miles and no one was around. The blaring that rang through the speakers made me deaf to anything that tried speaking to me... But I moved along.

The stained walls was all I saw. The hallways became longer and longer, and became narrow..

I gasped for air, feeling as if there wasn't air anymore, and as if I actually needed air. I became frantic, looking around as my eyes widened. The lights going out completely.

A light showed through a small door, and an image ran into my vision. Exactly who I didn't want to see. One of them..

I shot them a glare before trying to run. Run away from everything. Everything and everyone of this hell of a ship. I need to escape, and  soon.

They will no longer harm me, I think to myself. But that's when the monster grabs me and makes me look at him

He is smirking, tilting his head to the side while his eyes glowed red. Exactly the robot I didn't want to see. The one I am trying to escape. The one who is trying to change me...

I screamed.

I woke up with an abrupt change in position. My body flinging in the air to the slightest, but falling right back onto the mat beneath me. I gasp for air, but then calm down realizing what was happening.

The ship had landed.

I smirk to myself, pulling my cloth for a blanket to the side and setting my feet to the cold, steel ground, standing up. The air was humid and musky, the smell of pollen and dirt filling my nose. Although it has been awhile since my feet touched the Earth's ground, there was a time ago when the ship was always landed and I could travel a bit, as long as I was being watched. But that was when I was younger and more naive, not realizing what was truly going on with me.

Now i'm older and understand more. I've become wiser and now it's my time to use that. I hope this works...

Before walking off, I turned back to the ground beside my mat. There sat my decepticon pendant necklace. The one I swore never to wear, nor touch. But I can't destroy it if I don't do that exact thing.

With one quick move, I lifted the metal band and held it tightly in my fist, frowning at even the mere thought of it; then, I switched my eyes to the door, standing only a few feet from me; and I leave.

I run through the halls as fast as my legs would let me, but careful not to be noticed by one of the robot scums. After not seeing any once looking out from a wall, I run directly towards the one entrance and exit I have ever found. At least, the only one I know of, anyway.

Glancing around the room, I don't notice any cons around, and I take a slight step forward, gazing down at the ground below me.

It looks far away from here. 30 feet i'm guessing. But I can make it, especially knowing my deep desire to escape, so I'm not wasting my one chance to do just that.

Shutting my eyes as tight as I could, I take in a deep breath before leaping through the air, my legs up to my chest and my arms flailing around beside me. The air blows across my face, and it is cold. Colder than I expected. My eyes are still shut, but the sun beats down on me, and I can see right through my eyelids.

This is what freedom feels like...

That's when my feet hit the ground with loud "thump", and I fall on my back. The hit wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, my head bounced against the ground, and my feet now throbbed. Well, the one that isn't metal did anyway.

I lie there for a few moments, just watching the sky. It is so beautiful. The blue, it shined into my vision unlike anything I had ever witnessed, and It was magnificent. The wind blows in my hair, my hair swooshing with it, and gathering near my eyes. The ground is soft, and the grass is green. So green... the green I haven't seen in so long, and yet, here it is now. In the palms of my hands.

A bug twirls around my ear, whispering "Freedom" to me. The one thing I hadn't been granted in so long. It feels so imaginary. I did it, I escaped.

A movement in the trees made me shoot up. I don't have anymore time to daydream, I need to leave. So I glance around in the swiftest motion and rush into the shrubbery only a few feet away from me. There, I wait until I don't see anyone around. Not even a shadow.

Standing back to my full height, my legs take me in the opposite direction of the warship. Exactly towards a sandy area; a desert.

The breeze that brushed against my cheek told me night was coming. The moon was just across the sky, while the sun at the horizon. The dark is coming.

It felt like days I have been traveling through the sand -only a few hours to be exact- when I stumble upon a small town. It has few buildings, and people are scattered around, either talking to someone or walking into a house.

I spot one store, one that seemed people continuously carrying out stuff in bags from, and I choose to go there. I could use some water after all this walking, even if energon would be the best for me right now, but that's not an option, nor will it ever be again.

As of opening the door, a bell rang and a man standing behind a desk smiles at me, welcoming me in.

Looking around the room, a refrigerator stood in the back, and I made my way towards it, opening it to feel a cold breeze. Water bottles sat on bars on the inside, so I grab one and began my way back out the door.

The room itself isn't rather busy except for the few people aimlessly walking around and another person standing behind a desk alongside the man from earlier, and all of them seeing not too friendly. I ignore it, though, and kept on moving, twisting off the water bottle cap and taking a sip, about to take a step out the door.

"Miss," the man behind the desk spoke up. "You have to pay for that."

He stares at me, as I stare right back at him. That's when the women gasps, taking a slight step back and the man doing the same. Both with their eyes wide, looking like they are afraid. How pathetic..

"Oh, my gosh!" The woman shrieks.

"What are you?!" The man shouts, looking just as horrified.

I turn my face to the side for the two people to see the metal on my face, only to switch back and send them a slight, sweet smile. "I'm a mutant."

I chuckle as I step outside.

Another man calls in the distance, once hearing an order from the cashier, "Get her!"

I glance back, staring awestruck at two people with sticks running towards me. I frown.

I move quickly ahead of them, hoping my special strength will get me somewhere.. But I, sadly, misjudged my speed, getting shoved to the ground after a whack from a metal point on my back.

I shout after the sharp pinch, moving my left hand to my back, allowing the metal to run over the soft spot. It stung, especially once the metal gave it the slightest touch, and I feel a cold substance running down my hand and around the wound.
