Rainy days

The rain poured down the grey skies. The faint drip of the water filled your ears as they hit the hard ground. 

"It's such a gloomy day..." you pouted as you stared out the foggy window.

Mark slowly walks up behind you as you stare out the window. He stands right next to you and peers out the window as well. 

"So, what do you want to do today?" you ask him while turning your head towards him. His head turns to face you and shrugs. 

You were happy that Mark was with you today because he is usually at work. You smiled to yourself as you were filled with happiness.

"What are you smiling about?" Mark smiled back.

You continued smiling and replied "Nothing.." , as you looked back out towards the window. 

Suddenly Mark hugged you from behind. His arms wrapped tightly around your waist. He rested his head on your shoulders and closed his eyes. You rested your arms on top of his while you dazed out.

"Do you want to watch some TV?" Mark said as he still was wrapped around your waist.

"Sure" you replied as you pushed back his arms and went to sit on the couch.

You turn on the TV and watched a movie together with Mark. The sun set as you watched the movie. You yawned quietly as your eyes started to blink heavily. You lie down on the couch and make yourself comfortable. 

"Are you tired Jagiya?" Mark whispered as he put his face nearly inches away from yours so that he could see if you were awake. 

"Mhmm" you replied with a slight nod.

Mark got up from the couch and reaching for the blanket, but you suddenly grab onto his arm and pull him back. Mark looked back with a little bit of a confused face.

"I want you to stay here with me and sleep here" you said as you looked at him.

"But, I was just going to-" You cut him off. 

"No buts. Just come here." You responded as you motioned your hands to come towards you.

Mark walked back around and lied down next to you. You smiled and hugged him tightly.

"Aren't you going to be cold?" Mark asked.

"Nope. Not anymore" You said as you pulled out of the hug and put your head on his chest.

Mark smiled to himself and rested his hand on top of your head.

"Good night ______" Mark said as he gently pecked your forehead as you both fell asleep.
