Winter

The snow fell from the sky as you glared out your window. The snow was piling up. You wrapped yourself with Mark's warm sweatshirt. You wore Mark's sweatshirt because it was big and fluffy. You smelled the scent of Mark and you loved it. Suddenly, the door slams. You quickly turn your head to see who it was. 

"Hey." Mark smiled as he was gasping for air. He stood by the door and ruffled some snow off his hair.

"You ran here?" You chuckle and move closer to him. 

"Of course. It's freezing out there." Mark said as he caught his breath and took off his shoes.

"Does that mean you don't have to work today?" You ask and cocked your head. 

"No.. I have to go back at 6:00 to do some more work. But, I have some free time right now." Mark smiled as he grabbed you in for a hug. 

Mark pulled you into a bear hug. His arms wrapped around your shoulders and he rested his head on top of yours. His body was cold and you could hear his breath exhale. You look up at him and smile. 

"Mark?" You ask leaning your head a bit closer. 

"Hmm?" He responds, looking down at you. 

You quickly and gently peck his lips. He was a bit shocked, but accepted it. You drew back and smiled joyfully.

"That's all you're going to tell me?" Mark jokingly said.

You smiled and walked into your living room. You sat comfortably on the couch and patted the cushion to tell Mark to sit down. Mark walked over and sat down, his arm extended over your shoulder and you leaned your head against him. 

"I'm so glad you came back." You said.

"I'm glad too." Mark replied as he ruffled your hair. 

"Ah, stop! My hair is going to be all frizzy now." You exclaimed as you tried to take Mark's hand away. 

Mark laughed and continued to do it. You both laugh together until Mark get's a phone call. 

"Yeoboseyo?" Mark answered his phone. 

You tried to listen in on the phone call, but all you heard was mumbling. 

"Already? Now?" Mark said.

You inferred that Mark had to go back to work and you pouted. 

"Okay, I'll come in 15 minutes." Mark said as he hung up the phone. 

"You have to go?" You ask as you still leaned on his shoulder. 

"Yeah.. they decided that we had to work on the project a bit earlier." Mark replied as he looked down. 

"Oh, okay. I understand... You better get going, or you're going to be late! You only have 15 minutes right?" You smile. 

"Yeah, I'll get going now." Mark duly replied. 

You knew how much this job meant for Mark and you wanted to help him as much as possible. Even if that meant not seeing each other for hours or days. 

He swiftly grabbed his coat and and keys. He slipped on his shoes and shook off some snow. 

"Bye. Have a safe trip." You smiled and kissed him as he went out. 

You went back to the couch and watched some TV. Five minutes go by and you notice that he left his phone. 

"Oh shoot." You thought. 

You grabbed your keys and quickly put on your shoes. You had no time to get your jacket. You rushed out the door to try and find him. You looked around you saw him already walking about two blocks away.

"Damn, how come he's some fast?!" You thought. 

You ran to him in the snow. The cold air hit your body and you shivered. You pushed forward until you finally were closer to Mark.

"MARK!" You yelled. 

Mark turned his head and his eyes widened to see you running. 

"What are you doing?" Mark yelled as he stood still. 

You ran closer and closer to him until you finally met up with him.

"You-You... For-got your phone.." You breathed out. 

You handed him his phone and placed your hands on your knees.

"Oh thank you." Mark said as he putted his phone in his pocket.

"You didn't have to run all the way here. You could've just called the office." Mark smiled. 

"Oh whoops. I guess I forgot." You laughed. 

"You're such an idiot." Mark said. 

"Shut up." You giggled. 

Mark took off his jacket and placed it around your shoulders.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy???" You said.

"What are YOU doing? Running here in the snow with nothing on" Mark smiled.

"I'm wearing something!" You said as your pointed at your shirt. 

"________" Mark said.

"Yeah?" You respond as you look up at him.

Mark kissed your lips. His warmth transferred to you. 

"I love you jagiya." Mark smiled. 

"I love you too." You responded.
