Jerk

You and your boyfriend just broke up. You found out that he was cheating on you with some other girl. You were devastated and couldn't even go outside. Warm tears cascaded along your cheek as you heard your phone ring. 

"Yeoboseyo?" Your best friend Mark said quickly. 

"Yeah..?" You sniffle. 

"Where are you?" Mark asked concerned.

"I'm in my apartment." You responded . 

"Okay, I'm coming now." Mark exclaimed. 

"Wait! Wh-" You got cut off.

Mark hung up the phone as soon as you were going to say something. You got up from the floor and started tidying up your apartment. A few minutes you hear a loud knock on your door. As soon as you open the door, Mark grabs you and pulls you into a hug. You were speechless. 

"I-I'm sorry... for what happened." Mark whispered. 

"How did you know...?" You ask as you buried your face in Mark's chest. 

"I saw him.. with another girl. That's when I called you, and I heard you were crying." Mark calmly said.

"Oh... I see," You replied as you sunk in deeper. 

You lift your face from his chest and sat back down on the floor. 

"I'm such a mess," You sniffle. 

"It's alright... you don't need him. I always knew he was no good for you." Mark said as he tried to comfort you. 

"Thanks." You said as you leaned your head onto Mark's shoulder. 

Mark rested his head on top of yours and you both stayed like that for awhile. 

The Next Day~   

You felt better from yesterday and felt happy that Mark was with you last night. You got up form your bed and went out to get some coffee. As you left your apartment, you saw Mark walking up the street. Your eyes locked and he began to yell your name and waved. You smiled and waved back. 

"What are you doing here?" You ask with a smile. 

"I was just going to your apartment." Mark smiled back. 

"Oh really?" You smile even wider. 

Mark nods and you continue.

"I was just about to get some coffee, you want some too?" You ask pointing at the coffee shop across the street.

"Sure, let's go." Mark said as you both walked side by side. 

You both order some coffees and head out to the local park. You both sat down on the bench and felt the warm breeze brush by. It was so relaxing and peaceful. 

You leaned back on the bench, making yourself comfortable. You yawned twice and Mark finally caught on. 

"Are you tired?" Mark asked. 

"Yeah, I little bit." You responded sipping your coffee again. 

"Here. Lay down" Mark said as he patted his lap. 

"No, no, no, no. It's okay" You quickly say.

A blush crept up your cheeks as you thought about it.

"C'mon it's okay. It will be comfortable for you" Mark smiled. 

"Okay, fine." You said as your placed your coffee on the ground and laid down.

You're head softly rested on Mark's lap. You were a little surprised how comfortable it was. You watched some children run around on the playground. You felt a Mark's hand touch your face. You quickly look up at him. 

"There was leaf on you." Mark shyly smiled. 

You smiled and slapped his chest.
